It might just be a "band-aid fix" on the multiple problems of the WWE PPV structure, but I feel like late March WMs would make the Road To WrestleMania feel a lot less long and a lot less daunting as opposed to WMs in April, which all WMs have been in for a few years in a row now. Also there might be less chance that the PPV (or 2 PPVs but quite frankly ther should be 1 at most) between Rumble and Mania will feel useless overall, and you could also say the same thing about the next PPV after Mania. So that that PPV (which used to be Backlash but then was Extreme Rules and just might be something different this year) won't be completely rushed in booking & buildup.
Although I'm sure there's a very good money related reason why WMs nowadays are specifically in early April instead of late March.

Thing is when it comes to improving WWE’s quality, we know that pitching “Make less content” isn’t something they’re willing to do, so what’s the point in even discussing it?

There's probably a good reason for it on a business level, but if that's the case just push the Rumble into February, or hell even swap it with Elimination Chamber. These overlong builds don't do anything for the show because there's no pacing or forethought into it, but unlike a standard show where WWE usually only has a 3-5 week time frame to mangle their storytelling, WWE has two and a half months to piss on its marquee matches with bad snap decisions made two hours before the show. But in a similar vein to what Twerkin' Maggle says; to admit they don't have the creative juice or forethought to make a two and a half month build work out would be a level of introspective and ownership of one's mistakes that means it's not happening for the reasons it should

WrestleMania is only in late March when Easter Sunday is the first weekend of April... and even when that was the case last year, they still had it a week later rather than earlier.

It kind of reminds me of how the Super Bowl use to be in late January and now it’s always the first week of February. I guess they got a good thing going with mania in April, backlash in May and MiTB in June. The mania build for major title matches should end in February with the EC being the secondary world/woman’s title contenders match and March should just be a house show kind of thing (like roadblock 2016) and maybe do a champions vs challenger tag match with both brands or something like that

Yeah. The Build to Mania is tedious most years because you know once the Rumble is over where everything is going, but you're stuck in a slow holding pattern

Undoubtedly.
The Road to WrestleMania is like one of those road trips where you're already worn out, sick of the other people in the car and ready to go home before you even get to your destination.
