I've never heard of Tyler Perry and it amazes me, googling his name, that he was once the highest paid man in entertainment. Honestly never heard of him, never seen any of his movies listed and, in fact, never even heard of any of his movies. Wow, really? Are you in the United States? Between his Madea movies, his numerous tv shows, and appearing in movies like Gone Girl, Vice, and Alex Cross. He's also best friends with Oprah. I am honestly surprised you've never even heard his name. I only know him as the guy on the Starfleet council in the 2009 Star Trek. I'm vaguely aware he's kind of a big deal, primarily from this forum, but I couldn't name anything else he's associated with.

Vince: “Great job starring on Coming To America Shelton...your role as a prince was amazing! I see a bright future for you!”
Otunga: “........”

It would be a very Vince thing to assume a somewhat prominent role in a Tyler Perry movie would relate to even one fan of the WWE caring about David’s Otunga.

Kinda like how, i dunno, Ant and Dec are household names in UK but not known elsewhere.

Tyler Perry could be a wrestler. That dude is HUGE. Well, he's a good 6'5, but some sites are listing him as 200 lbs, which makes me want to see him towering over everyone on 205 Live.

I am honestly surprised you've never even heard his name. I'm not surprised. I live in the US too, and Tyler Perry practically exclusively markets to Black Americans only. You don't even seen his ads for his films on 'white shows' NBC, ABC or CBS it's only on FOX or CW or sometimes USA Network but DEFINITELY every commercial break on BET. When 'Blackish' airs, or 'Welcome to the Neighborhood' you will see ads for Perry's shows. He does targetted marketing specifically to Blacks hence why he's so successful at the box-office and I know a lot of Black people that I know personally feel like they 'have' to support Perry. He sickens me. Why? For heaven's sake, imagine a white guy doing the same thing Perry does, and just for kicks call him 'Kerwin White' and have him say 'If it ain't white, it ain't right!' Now do you you see why it sickens me? Not to mention his comedy sucks and is sophomoric at best.

David Otunga: Tyler Perry enthusiast would be the most despised heel since '96 Hollywood Hogan.
