Apparently at a live event tonight, Asuka was wrestling Mandy Rose. Rose dropped her wrong off a reverse flapjack, causing Asuka to land on her head hard. Match had to be stopped and Asuka had to be helped out of the ring. No reports yet on the severity of the injury.

Mandy Rose, another "rushed to the main roster" failure.
This angers me.

Apparently the move was almost a reverse flapjack and Asuka tucked her head toward the end out of nowhere.

Mandy Rose, another "rushed to the main roster" failure. This angers me. Could be that or just a freak accident... Hopefully it was done as a precautionary act and nothing too serious occurred.

Yeah, I really hope Asuka is OK, because landing on the head and neck could be very, very bad.

should have been a 5 second squash match. Rose shouldn't have gotten any offense in.

Apparently the move was almost a reverse flapjack and Asuka tucked her head toward the end out of nowhere. From what's been said from people there it looked like a miscommunication. Mandy was going for her finisher, and Asuka thought she was going for something else.

The report I read said that Asuka tucked her head instead of taking Mandyâs finish normally and hit hard. Iâd say at minimum she has a concussion.

Rose has no prior history of this kind of thing happening, so Iâm inclined to lean towards âunlucky accidentâ before I start throwing around things like âunsafeâ or âunprofessionalâ willy-nilly.

Exactly. It's not like she's Seth Rollins here.

Really sucks, I hope it's just them being safe instead of sorry. As green as Mandy can still be at times, she doesn't have a history of injuring people, even with that knee strike she does. Sounds like an unfortunate accident due to miscommunication.

Okay, off topic, but why do they insist on running house shows in the same time slot as their flagship show? What sense does that make?

Okay, off topic, but why do they insist on running house shows in the same time slot as their flagship show? What sense does that make? Smackdown is on the road anyway, since they run weekends and Tuesday, so they might as well run a show on Monday if it's affordable.
