I for one welcome our new FAT overlord.
What is it with dudes who AJ successfully defends the WWE title against in one-on-one matches promptly turning around into SmackDown's midcard title? Ambrose did it in his first reign and Jinder, Nakamura, Rusev, and Joe not only all did it but they did it in the same order AJ beat them.
I'd say I hope it's better than Nakamura's but the fact Joe won it in an actual match pretty much means it already is.

Joe killing fools with the US Title, hell if he keeps the open challenge like a way to welcome new victims, it will be a great way to build him back up. I really enjoyed how well he looked in that four way, even how Vega sold how he was absolutely brutalizing Andrade
If it leads to Joe vs Cena, all the better, a match that has been a long time coming.

Joe can be choking out fools and say he's unstoppable until Cena comes out and tries to stop him
Or hell, pick it up between Joe and Ali again in the big man veteran vs the young upstart storyline

Please just literally redo the Joe as X Division champ run in TNA 05-06. Right down to him losing it on my birthday in an Ultimate X match.

There's a really good storyline in play for them that they need to pull the trigger on. There's a lot of story that they can bring up. I don't even care who wins, just show us the match.

I much prefer him as US champ for my live event in Peoria than Truth.

Part of me thinks they'll sacrifice Dean to Drew to write him out of storylines because well they give everything to Drew.

If it leads to Joe vs Cena, all the better, a match that has been a long time coming. They've been wanting to do this for 2 years now, so hopefully it can and be a proper match unlike Taker/Cena over the last few years.

No, he's United States Heavyweight Champion. A toast to the new champ.

If it's Joe and Cena I really hope it isn't the cookie cutter Indie Darling VS Cena feud. The two of them have a 20+ year history together and I hope they acknowledge that.

Give me Joe vs Cena at Mania, please. This needs to happen already before we end up in the Sting/Taker territory of it being too late. Their history sets all the ground work for the beginning of the story. I can't even think of a better Mania program for either of them.

Joe's easily one of the best promo guys they have and very few can keep up with Cena when he's on his game, and it sure beats the hell out of seeing Cena try to carry Undertaker or face Drew McIntyre.
