I watched the 2018 Rumble, and Goldust came out and was referred to a "Rumble veteran" who had been in the match many times. The very next Rumble I watched? 1997. Who made their very Rumble debut there? Goldust. I just thought it was kind of amusing and a reminder of how time flies and how long some guys' careers can be.

I binge watched all of them before this years and am always surprised at how many certain guys have been in. Like Great Khali was around for f***ing FOREVER

In that case, I stand corrected. The harder they hit the rules, that’s how you know something screwy is gonna happen. Like in 2000, where they actually show the 1995 finish as a historical highlight, only for there to be a disputed finish with The Rock and Big Show that would be the basis of a feud over the next month.

I binged a couple of years ago, and they refer to it as the Bushwhacker record a couple of times for quickest elimination even though it was never record.
Also the belief people have you must make it to ring before the next entrant comes out means Del Rio should never have won the Rumble... not that it's a bad thing

Goldust has been in a lot of Rumbles and has barely done shit in any of them.

He's one of only seven people (Chris Jericho, Triple H, Rey Mysterio, Shawn Michaels, Kane(/Isaac Yankem/Fake Diesel), Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes(/Stardust)) in the history of the match to be in it a combined three hours or more.

The thing I always notice is the big heavy guy (Big Show, Mark Henry, etc) coming to the ring and the announcers always going "HOW ARE THEY GOING TO GET HIM OUT OF THERE???" and "I PICK HIM TO WIN HE'S SO BIG" and then he's easily eliminated within 5 minutes.
