Noticed plenty predicting Dean Ambrose to turn on reigns and seth at the next ppv but I've been thinking about the possibility of Roman turning heel and stunning everyone by doing the dirty on seth and Dean.
If I was in control i would have Reigns turn on the two of them and the night after on raw cut a killer promo telling the fans he noticed he only gets cheered after his illness and he doesn't want their sympathy and to stick it. Etc etc...
I realise it's highly unlikely to happen but anyone else reckon it might happen? Or that it's a good idea??

No, they would piss away all his goodwill
It was bold and made sense for Dean to turn after the Roman announcement but this would make no sense. You'd have to put his Cancer into a story line and no one should be comfortable with that
Let Joe continue to be calm cool and relaxed and soak up this fan appreciation he deserves

I really can't believe I'm saying this, but turning Roman would be a terrible idea right now.

“He finally starts getting cheered, let’s turn him heel!” sounds like the most WWE thing ever, so probably.

I hope not. I’ve been waiting forever for a SHIELD reunion I’d hate to see it wasted.

I’d laugh so hard if NOW was the time they choose to turn Roman heel.
I’d also love it though.

You can't turn a man riding off of beating cancer twice heel. That sends a bad message.

An alignment change at the worst possible time would be par for the course, but I don't think it'll happen.
I'll be honest though - I give it about 3-4 months before Roman starts getting booed again. It won't be overwhelmingly negative like it was, but I expect about a 50-50 or 60-40 mix.
It's almost a lock that booking will fumble everything, and once we're a bit removed from rooting for Joe Anoa'i to win his battles, people are going to remember that Roman just isn't very good.

I said no because them doing that would be the dumbest damn thing possible. But I can see why someone wouldn't give them the benefit of the doubt.

They wont as they will want to push for the next while he overcame the odds...look well done on his health battle, but I don't want them ramming the over coming cancer down our throats to try and get him a positive reaction

While it seems entirely plausible that the WWE would pick the one time that Roman has been organically popular to turn him heel, I don't think they will. Vince still sees him as a face of the company, and a marketable one at that, and he'll remain a face for the same reasons John Cena did.

*insert knowing Vince.copypaste post here*
They aren’t going to turn a man that’s beaten cancer twice. The WWE and or Vince have made some crass decisions in the past, but they’re not /that/ tone deaf and dumb to do something as turning the dude who just beat cancer heel.

This would be the absolute worst timing for a heel turn since Buff Bagwell went heel coming back from a near paralyzing neck-injury.

It'd be hilarious.
I don't think it'll happen. But then with some of the stupid decisions they've made recently, I wouldn't say it's completely out of the realm of possibility.

His current shirt has a logo that riffs on the cancer support ribbon. They're riding this horse until it cant walk.
