It’s an awful feud and I don’t think the match will be that good. Feuds can be all the way trash but the matches can still be good Perfect examples are the first Brock vs. Roman WM match, Brock vs. Goldberg a couple years ago, and hell, even Ronda vs. Nia at MITB last year (the main event of WM is obviously a different animal, though). I'm at least confident the match will be fun because of Becky and Charlotte and the crowd shitting on Ronda.

That’s probably the least remembered thing about it. Also Rock/Austin II which apparently had to involve Debra changing clients for...reasons?

Calling it now. They're going to stage a Sexy Star incident and feed to every wrestling news entity that Ronda "went off script" and that's gonna be the cover for why she leaves for a bit. I think they're gonna go all the way with the stupid shit here. I’m praying this isn’t what happens.

They had the opportunity to frame this like a big fight, between two badass people who take no shit. It's the easiest f***ing thing in the world, UFC and boxing do it all the time. Yet the WWE feels this compulsion to include evil authority figures and allusions to wrestling being inferior to real combat sports. It would be absurd, if it wasn't so laughably predictable.
The match being great is something I'm fairly confident in. Whether it's just Becky and Ronda, or if Charlotte is involved too, I think they'll put on a great match, and I don't think the crowd will be completely dead. They won't be as hot as they'd be at the end of a three hour show, but they'll still have something for Becky, I'm sure. Whether that will be enough for the braintrust at the WWE to think it was a success, and not blame the performers, is another question entirely.
But if this match main events, and the crowd does go wild, then there's every chance that we'll see women main eventing PPVs become normal, which would only be a good thing, given the quality of the women the WWE has.

Charlotte will have to wrestle herself while Becky flops and Ronda lays there, the exits will be headed for quickly.

Just don't get how this won't at least be much more entertaining than the last three WM main events. Yeah, the main event of WM is a different animal like I said, but if Ronda can have two good matches with Nia, why can't she with two seasoned vets at the top of their games? Especially when they'll be rehearsing the hell out of it as well.

What I like about this is that this could easily be a scene from one of his movies.

Right. Plus one other advantage of the triple-threat setup is that its no-DQ, so there's every chance they can do some of the hardcore spots that helped matches like the Evolution LWS and the TLC main-event stand out, especially as it will pay off all the violence of the feud so far since Survivor Series.
Of course, this issue about the match not merely needing to be 'ok' or 'fine' is also part of why Charlotte's important to the match. In addition to her chemistry with both Becky and Ronda, Her skill set is perfectly suited for big matches, and at the end of a long and tiring show you want someone who can pull off some big spots to help keep the crowd invested, this area not being Becky (whose main aerial move is a subpar missile dropkick) or Ronda's (she has that crossbody which is normally nice, but she dangerously messed it up on Raw last time she tried it) strong suit.

I do think that the match is gonna overcome the feud. I still think the feud itself is "decent" while mostly unpolished and poorly thought out. But once the match starts I'm really confident that people are gonna forget about how plodding the road was to get there and enjoy the match a lot.
Not that this is Rock/Hogan level stuff, but Rock/Hogan had about the dumbest build you could ask for leading to a match of that scale, but once the match happened the match itself was so surreal nothing else really mattered and I think it's a similar case here. If they are the genuine main event of the show that will be cool as hell and if the match delivers then that's really gonna stick with people I'm sure.

It’s an awful feud and I don’t think the match will be that good. The feud was really strong and had great heat behind it. But WWEs ineptitude has made it seem like it’s been ongoing for a year plus and we still have six more weeks and 13 more shows for them to drag it out and get everyone more sick and tired of it

Yes, in fact this song should be the official theme song for that match:

I'm just hoping they have the good sense to have Becky tap Ronda out to end the show. I'm kind of feeling like they're going to have Ronda beat Charlotte then have Becky beat her one-on-one the next night because the publicity of Ronda winning in the first women's Mania main event will beat out sending fans home happy.

I said in the other thread the more this feud goes on the less and less likely do I see them actually giving it the last spot on the card.

Honestly, despite the history of woman main eventing mania, if they want a hot crowd for a Main event, then Kofi would be the best option if he is indeed going to challenge Bryan.

I don't think the crowd will be dead at mania. I have been to two manias and the two i went to were 29 and 32. Yea those 2 lucky me. I will say though when you are there even if it's a crappy mania its still fun as all hell and goes buy pretty quick. If they main event I can see the crowd going nuts for Becky

Has there ever been a good build to a mania main event really?
It doesn't matter at the end of the day, they'll peut together a great video hyping the match and eventually everyone will forget whatrver qualms they had with the fued

I just can't see them being dead for it though, even after sitting there for like 18 hours. At the very least, they'll be cheering for Becky and chanting shit at Ronda.

It could be huge. Unfortunately as it goes on, it feels like The Producers. The way I feel is like when there's a divisive movie, but I'm now concurrently the people defending it, & the people hating it.
