Guys turning down millions to get the hell out of dodge. It truly must be one CRAPPY company to work for these days. Of course, I wouldn't want to deal with a company where one family is running everything either. You may as well work for the Gambinos.
It was better when it was Vince and some trusted non-family management with him. Before his clueless daughter, wanna-be wrestler son, doofus son in law

Boy, somebody deserve they ass whooped for seriously offering millions for Da Baldies. It's been three years. The boys are buns, point blank. They don't have particularly good matches, WWE obviously don't give a f*** about them based off how they've been used, where on earth does the value make sense in a deal like that? WWE got too much money to blow through, lmao.

"You won't leave me, right Jose?" "No way." "I love you, Jose. Like, more than a friend." "This got too weird, too quickly." Sting: He really said that? Jose: Yeah, man. I mean, that's pretty bad, right? S: Sure. I mean. Roddy Piper was my boss once and he kept making me watch an action movie he did with Don the Dragon Wilson, but that Vince thing was probably worse. J: Who is Don 'The Dragon' Wilson? A Steamboat knock-off. S: Man, that's hilarious. He was a big time champion martial artist who slid into action films at the end of the 80s to cash-in on the legitimate fighters doing tough guy films. Van Damme did Bloodsport, Wilson did Bloodfist. That one guy did Gymkata. J: I watched a YouTube video on Gymkata. S: Yeah, everyone does eventually. J: You did a movie didn't you? S: I did a Sprite commercial. J: Oh, man! YEAH! I think I bought a Sprite after seeing it. S: Sorry for warping your mind for capitalistic gains. J: ... S: ... J: Do you think Ric is ever going to come out for this party? S: There never was a party, Jose. J: What? S: Vince spiked your drink, Jose. This is all a hallucination. J: An illusion? S: Hallucination. J: I'm drugged and my mind chose to have me chit chatting with you? S: Apparently. J: Why? S: Who knows. Guilt for not returning my Twilight Zone DVDs? J: So...now what? S: You wake up and have a 6 year contract at the minimum. J: Awesome. I was expecting, you know, worse things. S: No, Vince hate Don Wilson movies. You'll be fine.

"You won't leave me, right Jose?" "Conga... conga... conga..." "I love you, Jose. Like, more than a friend." "I needs to CONGA!"

I’m not a super big Club fan, but I feel they could have done waaaay more with these guys, and if they feel like getting 8.6 gatrillion dollars isn’t worth not being used or on tv, then good for them.
Again I know everybody’s situation is different, but it’s nice to when people aren’t easily swayed by money or titles when what they really want to be creatively fulfilled. I have no idea if anybody in WWE understands that treating guys like shit and then offering them more money to still treat them like shit and make them feel like crap isn’t a productive business model. But then I realize they put on shows for the Saudi Arabian government, so this is right up their alley.

So basically...
You, WWE got the money I need but you say push other men And you say push other men, oh WWE You, WWE got the money I need but you say push other men And you say push other men, oh WWE You, WWE got the money I need but you say push other men And you say push other men, oh WWE
So I took Vince's word for it at this time I thought just pushin' other teams couldn't be no crime 'Cause I have friends and that's a fact Like Jimmy, Cesaro, New Day, and Chaq (Gable) Forget about that, let's go into the story About a company that said they adored we So we started talkin', getttin' familiar Spendin' a lot of time so we can build up A relationship or some understanding How it's gonna be in the future we was plannin' Everything sounded so dandy and sweet I had no idea I was in for a treat After this was established, everything was cool Wrestled on Raw and Smackdown talkin' shop and acting like fools I called every day to see how Vince was doin' Everytime that I called him it seemed somethin' was brewin' I called his office, a guy picked up, and then I called again I said, 'Yo, who was that?' 'Oh, he's just Roman' Don't gimme that, don't ever gimme that Jus' bust this

Imagine how f***ing miserable WWE must be to work at for some of these people if they're willing to walk from multi-million dollar deals because of how poorly they're being handled

Well, at least Karl Anderson got to work a 1-on-1 match against John Cena. That's something to sell yourself on so long as nobody bothers to take the 1-minute to watch the match.

Working for Vince McMahon is notoriously, historically awful. There’s a reason damn never everybody used to require pills and vodka to be able tolerate it long enough to die before leaving middle age and why all the REALLY big names got the **** outta Dodge as soon as possible.

I seriously doubt WWE offered millions to a team they have barely used on tv for years now.

I just remembered these dudes were the cornerstones of Southpaw Regional Wrestling. (Well, you can argue for Lance Catamaran and Chett Chetterfield.)
Ah well, the second Southpaw season already felt like a case of diminishing returns. And the Brothers would be solid in All Elite.

They don't have good matches because they aren't given much in the way of time for good matches. Gallows admittedly has always been that limited big man tag guy, but Machinegun can go- he had some great singles matches back in NJPW and is a seriously undervalued talent. Also, can't believe he's 39, I'd have put him same age as Gallows. Get to AEW where you'll actually get your talents maximised boys. Or back to New Japan for a Bullet Club power struggle.

Well this isn't really a suprise they've rarely been used since moving to Smackdown. This was mentioned in a promo that they did on Smackdown last year. At that point in time it was their first appearance in Smackdown since August.

Glad they're leaving and I like them. Huge expectations coming in with would they team with Balor or AJ. A few weeks with each, a tag title run that ends in losing them at WM to the Hardys. Go made good money with a lot less travel.

Gallows and Anderson are a strange case for me because I absolutely love listening to them on Jericho’s podcast and the Talk’n Shop stuff they’ve done, but I’ve no desire to ever see them in the ring. Completely dull, and their outside-the-ring personalities are far superior to anything they get to offer inside it. Hilarious guys, but tag team wise, they don’t offer anything that 100 other tag teams can do better.

Yeah, I’d say it’d be the right call. Frees up some space on the roster and they can go get more regular work with their mates in AEW. Regular work? AEW has no TV deal and might only do 4-6 shows per year.

So let me get this straight...millions of dollars but I'm not getting pushed over a few hundred k maybe and I'm pushed as a top guy. Do pushes with a fraction of money pay bills? Can I explain to my wife why the house is in foreclosure over my need to be artistically satisfied?
