As long as he puts effort and actually puts over talent in clean fashion(not the ones that are Gunner level).
Those are a couple of big ifs.

He has a right to be bitter as f***. What even happened between him and Sonya? I remember years back seeing an interview or footage or something of them and they seemed a total for-life couple who were a rare example of a marriage surviving the business. It's sad how things have turned out for him, Sabu too. RVD used to be my favourite wrestler and now I just feel a tinge of pity for the guy.

Man, what a depressing thread. It's a shame both guys HAVE to still be doing this, especially Sabu. That video is terrible. I mean, yeah he's been botching that for over 20 years but he clearly doesn't care at all here.

Was that show where RVD dogged it the same one with Omega/Fenix as the main event? To me there was no better wrestler in the game from 1998-2002, but aside from some of his 2006-07 stuff and his TNA 2010 stuff he hasn't done much in years. Some of his 2013 WWE stuff was fun, but by 2014 it was obvious he was done.

I would assume that RVD and his doctor think he’s fine to wrestle, but the WWE doctors would much rather play it safe.

RVD has admitted he's not interested in changing anything up and he's happy doing the same shit he's been doing for 20 years, so... I wish him the best, but hard pass on seeing this guy do anything.

Stoner douche who wants to do things his own way rather than stopping injuring his opponents fairly consistently and give nothing back turns out to be exactly that.
RVD was incredibly agile and had potential to be far more talented than he actually was. Now I'd put him in the same box as Aron Rex. Not for ability level but for the 'Oh, WWE aren't always wrong' factor. Their reasons for not getting fully behind him have been pretty much vindicated.

Last time I saw Sabu which wasn't long ago, he thought he was still that guy he was 20 years ago but couldn't do shit. Like the one thing he did was the jump pf chair spot in the corner but with a clothesline instead of his leg lariat. The rest of the match he punched and throw chairs.
RVD last I saw he was slow and tries to do his main spots but in a slow sloppy and said matter. I get he aged but he was always a guy who stayed in shape for the longest time and worked out and kept himself all flexible and stuff. I used to like RVD a lot but his whole away from the ring still bitter and thinks he better than everyone attitude just rubs me the wrong way.
