Heh, without going through all of these, I know one thing he hates is hillbilly gimmicks, mostly because he hates guys wrestling in overalls. I can imagine it's probably not very fun to have a guy dropping legs, etc, on you in denim, though.

I'm not sure which is more galling, the take on charities or libraries. But given that his stance on the Ice Bucket Challenge means that he thought he was more informed on the subject than Stephen Hawking, that does take quite a stunning level of arrogance.

I can't believe Lance Storm is as pro a follow on twitter as those lists made him out to be.

I'm with him completely on the "putting on a good show" stuff. When people cut promos, I don't want to hear about them making history, having the match of the night or whatever.

I remember I tweeted him once, either before WM 27 or 28 making a joke about HHH "f***ing going over" (even putting that I was kidding at the end) and he gave me this super serious response telling me, "Wake up dude."

I don't see anything that's particularly unreasonable or even all that noteworthy there. The only thing that comes close maybe his stance on cancer charities, but there are some high profile examples that are little more than money making enterprises, paying half a million dollar salaries to execs, suing other charities and spending a fraction, like 20% on actual research towards a cure.

The time Disco Inferno appeared on his podcast was so awkward that you ended up feeling bad for Gilberti.

I mean - he might be. Stephen Hawking was obviously Stephen Hawking but he was only an expert in things he was an expert in. Like, I probably know more about Reel Big Fish than him. There was an episode of Killing the Town (I wish I could find it again) where Lance talked at the end about his dog having to be put to sleep and he was devastated. I mean obviously he was, he's a human, but it's not the kind of thing you expect from Lance and I felt so awful for him.

I guarantee you, if someone compiled a list of all the negative things you said on this forum and ignored everything else, you wouldn't look that great either.

What he says about cancer charities is 100% true. Most do absolutely no good and you gotta do a TON of research to find the ones that actually help people

Preeeeetty sure he was trolling on some of those answers. One of the tweets is sending him the list of things he doesn't like asking if he read it and he just replies saying he doesn't like lists. Dude is definitely playing up to his gimmick somewhat, even if he does also have a very old-timey and sober preference for wrestling. As for the charity stance....I don't exactly agree with him but I can see where he's coming from. There's some charities I will not support because I've done research into how they actually use their funds, and they spend a lot more on executive salaries, or on fundraising/self promotion drives, than on anything to do with the cause they're supposedly caring about. I volunteer for some, I donate a chunk of my salary every month to some, but some charities absolutely exist as a revenue stream and little more and I can understand why someone might grow curmudgeonly about them if they've struggled to find a good charity.

To be fair, he talks frequently about things he likes, too.
Why, one could make a list of them.
