Says it all. WWE announced that RAW was coming to Lexington, KY on April 29th, two weeks after Mania. It’s “only” my fourth live show, including a house show right after Christmas in LA in 1989 (Hogan/Perfect ME), Mania 7 and a RAW in Anaheim just before SummerSlam ‘01 (Rock/Shane ME), but even if the product may not be living up to expectations, to have the experience is everything to me. We are already teased Shield versus MacIntyre/Corbin/Lashley. I’m meh about the heels, but all about faces. Roman coming back from cancer is still big for me, but then there’s Seth who hopefully will be carrying the red belt. And then, there’s Dean. Which makes me think about edgestar, what he means to her in what could be one of his last shots for the the company. I gotta cheer him for her, ya know? And then there is the hope, the big hope, that The Man will be there. You hope to see, you hope to cheer, you hope so strongly that a big motivator and reason to keep going against current product letdowns will be there. Dreams and hopes against reality is a strong motivator. So, yeah, excited. And optimistic. Against logic and reason which may be the best of all reasons to go. So, I am. Yay.

ALWAYS cheer for Dean, for me Then I have a promise to keep. And promises last forever. As long as you promise to support Taker for me. Even if he isn’t competing anymore. You get a chance to cheer for him or say hello for me, I’ll support and cheer Dean for you. Am going to do it anyway, but if I can get a promise out of it, so much the better.

I’m very envious of you for having gone to Wrestlemania VII. I love that show and the crowd seemed hot all night.

Lucky, Peoria hasn't had a TV taping since Smackdown in 2007. Have fun!

I don't mean to rain on your parade, I really do hope you have a good time. But a WWE show live in 2019 isn't nearly the same as a WWE show live in 2001. Try not to get your hopes up too high.

I went during the attitude era, and I went to back to back raw and smackdown the last two years. It's equally fun. Let him enjoy it

The booking these days do leave something to be desired and the days of Rock, Austin, Jericho et al seem very far away. But there is Braun, Roman, Seth and hopefully my beloved Man. There is no reason, none, not to believe there will be something good here. It’s the first RAW locally in forever, usually if Lexington gets a broadcast show, it’s SmackDown, so this is significant and hopefully, the crowd will reflect that. Fingers crossed, hopes high, fun to be had. All I can hope for.

Was this really necessary? Yes. WWE Live is always a better experience, than watching on TV. Some people may not be thrilled with the WM build, but, I'm excited about going. You said you weren't gonna rain on his parade. Don't.

Depends where the seats are. If I've got good seats the main event could be No Way Jose vs Becky Lynch and I would still enjoy it.

Section 22, row FF
Be facing the Tron, but a fair distance from the ring. At Anaheim, I was 12 rows from ringside and had to stand all night to see the ring. This is cheaper and better, IMHO.
