How long has it been since we have had big time singles matches between Fulltimers that aren’t for any title? AJ vs Orton feels like the first one in a long time, bonus points to it being a branded match as well as most of the time they are interbrand matches (Taker/HBK, HBK/Angle and orton/Taker) I honestly cant remember the last time we’ve had that. Maybe Orton vs Rollins? Or Orton vs Punk?
Edit: Major goof up on my part. I meant just Wrestlemania

Daniel Bryan vs Triple H at WM 30 That one was still for a title match later in the night, so it's a gray area, plus Triple H has gone to part-timer status by then. It's tough to think of what qualifies or not, definitely depends some on what you consider a big deal.

HBK vs Angle would count, if Cena vs Taker happened in say 2010 that would count. AJ vs Orton is a match that people have been waiting to see for years and yes they had that tv match but no real fued, and they’ve both been the two major guys on smackdown that have been kept away from eachother

AJ vs. Jericho? Would Jericho have counted as full time at that point because he basically worked a full time schedule?

AJ vs. Jericho? Would Jericho have counted as full time at that point because he basically worked a full time schedule? Jericho's kind of his own unique thing, he's a part-time full-timer.

AJ vs Finn Balor at TLC 2017 counts, right? Granted, it was stitched together at the 11th hour, but it's a match a lot of people had been looking forward to for a long time.
I feel most of AJ's gonna feature a lot in this thread.

Technically, Wyatt was a former world champion when he had his feuds with Rollins and Balor in 2017.

Jericho's kind of his own unique thing, he's a part-time full-timer. Not anymore. 😂 What I mean is that until other part-timers, Jericho will come back for a run rather than just one angle/feud. He'll at least be around for a few months, have matches with a good few guys, etc. Whereas with guys like Taker, Rock, HHH, etc. it's a one and done sort of deal.

Batista vs Umaga on paper seemed like a big match in 2008 but in reality it was only on the card to give Batista something to do that year.
John Cena vs Bray Wyatt is probably the biggest in recent years. Cena was the biggest star in the company and Wyatt was at his hottest.

Honestly, it is hard for them to do these kinds of matches these days because guys are paired up so much due to the insane amount of tv they have to produce. Plus, they like to get everyone on the card for Mania, so there is always lots of multi man matches.

This decade? It's hard to say, because of the fact that there are part-timers, which adds an extra feel.
