Part of me is hoping that Kofi chants start to dwarf the Becky chants so they call an audible and give Kofi the main-event.

I am interested in both of them a lot still, but the Kofi fire is fresher, so I can understand why you'd favor him. Still, it'd be wayyy too late to do that.

WWE's kinda overbooking the Kofi shit too. Not AS MUCH though. The Becky stuff went over a cliff. Between the oversold Leg Injury and Ronda's EVERYTHING, I really want to time travel back to when Charlotte's insertion into the match was our biggest gripe.

Nope. I like Kofi, but Becky has really earned her spot, and continues to, in spite of the WWE's incompetence.

I like them both. Becky and Charlotte both earned the top spot though in my opinion.
I'm actually really digging Smackdown's layout as far as faces go. Kofi, Ali, Miz, Owens. Watching Owens in the triple threat tonight made me think that Owens/Bryan feud for Mania would have been really good if Kofimania didn't happen.

Honestly? Yeah I'm more interested in Kofi right now. Doesn't mean I want him to have the main event as the woman need to main event but as for my personal interest? Yeah.
I'm still digging Becky's story but Kofi's is fresher, it's more unpredictable and it's got less issues with it.

Why does it matter? Can't they both just be well liked?

The WWE title is not main eventing Wrestlemania. There's really no wiggle room there in my view; the women main event so they can get the BIG WOMENS' FIRST EVER WRESTLEMANIA MAIN EVENT with Ronda Rousey in it, or we get Seth/Brock. Those are the options. It has nothing to do with cheers; WWE simpyl does not book its big decisions around those, and the past four Wrestlemania main events all getting torn to shit by the audience is a testament to that.

No because even Anne Frank could see that Kofi’s going to fight Bryan at Mania.

Yeah I'm probably in the vast minority here... I'm not sure, but I prefer Becky Lynch as he was before all this "The Man" business. If only she got a more consistent push, she'd still be a big star. Her new persona is entertaining I guess, but I don't really care.
I like the more serious New Day with Kofi's current journey, and I think there are some pretty interesting possibilities post Mania, if he does indeed win the title.

It’s hard to say, because both are important for similar reasons, and that being a groundbreaking moment beyond themselves as individuals. Kingston, the long-time veteran finally winning the big one and what that means as it relates to the history of African-American wrestlers in WWE. And Lynch, while it would be her third reign as a champion, is on the verge of being the first of her entire gender to close out WrestleMania holding the gold.

I love The Man, but adorkable goofball Becky is my favorite because it's who she really is. Her current character just has way more upside because you could easily make her heel if it starts to get stale (even though they refused to boo her when they tried it the first time).

Kofi is less forced. The whole The Man thing for Becky works if she's a cocky heel but they turned her back face so soon. She's just regular Becky to me still and no I don't think she is the modern day Steve Austin like some claim her to be. She's still the same in the ring, it would be like Apollo Crews suddenly acting like a badass and expecting people to buy it.

No because even Anne Frank could see that Kofi’s going to fight Bryan at Mania. Do you mean Helen Keller? Anne Frank would probably have balcony seats at mania though...

I was into the Becky storyline going into the Rumble and even a week or two after it, but now not so much with recent events. It should still be the main event, but I'm starting to get more interest in the Kofi storyline with Vince trolling him along the way, which hopefully ends with him winning the WWE title at Mania.
