ngl, I know I sound like a bit of a dweeb here, but I think it's kinda worrying that Bruce Prichard gets rehired and suddenly women's match get weirdly shorter. Like, probably coincidental, but, oof.

I think we should remind ourselves that Naomi vs. Mandy Rose went about 45 seconds on last week's Smackdown. That wouldn't have looked out of place in 2011 in the worst days of the Diva's Division.

As good as Asuka is and as much as I like Mandy, it's good that was kept short-ish. Mandy's not ready for a big singles push just yet.
The Becky/Charlotte match was just a shame. They had some of 2018's best matches with each other and you never would've guessed because of that damn knee "injury."

Good.
Mandy isn't very good, Charlotte/Becky had the injury storyline, and any match including Tamina (the worst worker in the company) has no business going long.
8 or 9 minutes should be about the target length for most matches, for the men and women - especially TV matches.

I’m for matches, in general being shorter. But this could be spmethimg to keep an eye on. Especially if Ronda leaves. I mean, they’re doing next to nothing with the SD women, right now.

That's probably why I don't remember it being #GiveDivasAChance level bad, but this is totally something to watch for, especially as they toot their horn for the first Women's Wrestlemania main event in a month. |

Seriously, did we really WANT those matches going longer? Nia and Tamina have actually gotten worse in the ring, Asuka just had an injury scare so best to not push her too much, and Becky's injury angles are already stretching believability. None of those matches should have nor needed to go that long.

I really think that they should be shortening the TV matches anyway across the board. That's the thing that's blown out over the last few years that has led to talents going missing for months at a time and less storyline development, because why book three five minute matches and a couple of promos for, like, 10 people, when you can have two people wrestle for 20 minutes?

I'd wait and see on the next few PPVs before jumping to any conclusions, like it's been said none of the matches lent themselves to being longer then 9 minutes
