I know Kurt is broken down and not the same guy anymore but it's still going to be very sad.
1999 to 2006 Kurt was about as good as it gets, in the ring, on the mic, his look, he had everything. Great comedic timing and not afraid to look a goof because everybody knew when the bell rang he could f*** you up. I wish they'd not turned him heel again in 2001, as great a heel as he was he was also a great firey babyface. Should have had a longer run as a face.
I didn't see too much of his TNA stuff so I can't comment on that but I wish he'd been in WWE for longer in his prime. It looks like he's free of all the demons and personal issues that were hurting him which is obviously great news, I think it'll be Kurt vs Cena.
Would be a nice ending.

I want Cena against Joe. Give me Angle putting over someone he hasn't worked already. Pretty much this. The symmetry stuff would be great but...the storyline is right there, man. It’s actually one of the better built ones on the show.

I think it will be Cena. Meltzer said the Joe match isn’t on the table. Angle has already put over new guys in this run.

There's no real storyline reason for it, but for match quality, working with a great small guy like Mysterio could probably get Kurt to look pretty damn good in his final match.

I think it will be Cena. Meltzer said the Joe match isn’t on the table. Angle has already put over new guys in this run. As he should keep doing. As God knows how many old guys should have been doing more of lately, especially when they don't show up every week.

Yeah, Cena (because of Cena's first match) or Shelton Benjamin (because of Team Angle)
As much as I'd love the Joe vs. Cena match (and it writes itself with their history), Angle vs. Cena would be a great way for Kurt to go out.

I'd believe that if they weren't telegraphing that Cena was at least going to save R-Truth from a Samoa Joe beatdown on Smackdown this week at the very least to set up a match. Like, again, WWE has been misdirecting and complicating stuff for months with pretty much every storyline EXCEPT this one. It's the most straightforward one they have.

For my own pick...have Kurt handpick an NXT guy. Use the opportunity to build them up with footage they have, Kurt talks about why he chose him, say he's watched him in NXT and in the indies when he wasn't in the company (they have ICW footage they can use with him so they probably can under the terms of the deals with the company) and make them seem important enough for Kurt to step up one more time.
Makes it easier to build them up further post WM with the shake up and the like.
