For my own pick...have Kurt handpick an NXT guy. Use the opportunity to build them up with footage they have, Kurt talks about why he chose him, say he's watched him in NXT and in the indies when he wasn't in the company (they have ICW footage they can use with him so they probably can under the terms of the deals with the company) and make them seem important enough for Kurt to step up one more time. Makes it easier to build them up further post WM with the shake up and the like. I think that's a damn good idea. It also doesn't need much from an in ring standpoint. Kurt takes a leave of absense to train, you can play the videos for the next few weeks because you only have that long until 'Mania. If they're on Takeover, hype up their Takeover match so if it's Pete Dunne, hype the crap out of Dunne/WALTER for example.

I'd go one step further and have a match on Takeover for the right to fight Angle at mania.

See, my one problem with that would be (considering the rumored card), it'd depend on what star power doesn't get on the card with weeks of tapings left and you don't want to have something that's more important than the belts you have presently. On the flip side, it would depend on who wouldn't have a match by then. Say if you have a 4 way with people like Keith Lee, Tyler Bate, Kassius Ohno and Matt Riddle would be banging.

He'll be too busy bringing the Demon out to win the IC title back from Lashley.

He'll be too busy bringing the Demon out to win the IC title back from Lashley. Are you kidding? That's a ridiculous idea. Finn Balor only saves the Demon for the REAL matches. Like Baron Corbin.

I really want to see Joe vs. Cena at WM, so I'll pass on Kurt vs. Cena.
This won't be happening at all so I won't get my hopes up, but Pete Dunne vs. Angle would be something else.

Drop the shit with Braun and the SNL guys and have Kurt ask Braun to be his last opponent. At least it'd give Braun something important to do at WM.

I think it will be Cena. Meltzer said the Joe match isn’t on the table. Angle has already put over new guys in this run. As he should keep doing. As God knows how many old guys should have been doing more of lately, especially when they don't show up every week. He has put people over and done it his whole career, his last match should be against a big name opponent in a match that means something. And I don’t think it would be bad for him to win his retirement match. I am just not subscribed to the theory that many seem to have that once you hit a certain age your only contribution to the wrestling business is losing to young guys. I have never understood that train of thought.

What if they had Charlie Haas do a one-off and we got Team Angle vs. Whoever.

What if they had Charlie Haas do a one-off and we got Team Angle vs. Whoever. SHOCK THE SYSTEM That could be great. The tag setup would allow Angle to just come in to do his greatest hits, and all four members of Undisputed are fantastic at making their opponents look like gold.

Kinda surprised that no one has mentioned yet that maybe Jordan's back in ring shape and no one's mentioned it, so Kurt can have an emotional farewell match with his son!
