Yeah, the video of Loughlin's daughter saying, "Yeah, I don't give a f*** about school. I'm here for parties and football." really pissed me off. If your parents knew that, and they still blew half a million on your dumb ass to go to school, they deserve to get locked up.
I had to bust my ass to get into school, and family situations caused me to drop out. I'd like to go back and finish, but it's tough. Shit like this just, again, makes me realize what a stupid society we live in.
Money is all that matters. Work hard? Decent person? Kind to others? Well you can f*** right off and struggle, because we only care about those who really matter, like those who can hit or throw a ball or those who can act and pay to have their kid walk onto campus. Those are the ones who will succeed and make big bucks.
*sigh* 😞

Guys like Hacksaw Jim Duggan had to earn their way into college. Ok now I want to see the Full House men debate Hacksaw's college credentials with Bobby Heenan and Gorilla Monsoon, complete with violin music. That episode of Full House would be Bobby grilling everybody so hard that the cast of Step by Step feels it.

The reason they did it this way was for tax purposes because the bribes were facilitated through a non profit charity. There aren't just celebrities indicted, there are CEOs and one is the co-chair at a prominent NY law firm that handles Wall Street accounts. That parent probably has the million to build some wing for a school, but would rather save money. 500 grand isn't anything to sneeze at either, could probably do a renovation project off the ground with that.

On that note you probably have some tax fraud baked into all this. If that law firm partner is convicted he will probably be disbarred. www.thedailybeast.com/willkie-farr-chairman-gordon-caplan-allegedly-faked-daughters-disability-in-college-admission-cheating-scandalAs an attorney, nothing gets me upset quite like attorneys behaving badly. It drags the entire profession, and the law, down.

My new head canon: Half-Baked and True Romance are in the same universe.

According to the local news, Lori Loughlin just surrendered. This statement is so hilarious and surreal. If you said "Somebody from Full House is going to surrender to the police" a week ago, Aunt Becky wouldn't have cracked the top 10. If you said "Somebody from Full House that stars in a bunch of Hallmark Movies surrendered to the police" she wouldn't have been first nor second guess either.

Heard the Feds raided Felicity Huffman and William Macy's house and arrested Huffman. Macy is currently not considered a suspect in any wrongdoing.

I figure Bob Saget would have done something drug related, or maybe Dave Coulier for being Dave Coulier From Full House AND starring in Hallmark Movies? probably Candice Cameron for a white collar crime or maybe Jodie Sweeten(spelling?) having a relapse.

Great!
I made good grades in school and still had to enlist in the Army to be able to go-to college. If only my mom had starred on some shitty sitcom I would not have a blown out knee and a damaged left shoulder.

I would much rather the police or FBI focus their resources and our tax dollars to solving murders, rapes, drug abuse and robberies and potential crimes than this. Arresting family women for something that brought no violence or potential death to anyone is shameful and embarassing, IMO.
I'm sure there are quite the few murderers and rapists roaming very freely and with confidence because law enforcement is devoting their resources to arresting 50 year old women and if we as a society have such angry and bitterness towards these parents, we are showing the violent offenders exactly why human life means nothing to us a society.

You think law enforcement was like, "Hey, forget about those serial killers and rapists. We got some white women to take down!" Dude, the shit they did hurts people too. It's illegal. Of course it isn't murder, but the law is the law, and pretty rich white girls aren't exempt.

So apparently, the nickname for the investigation was "Operation Varsity Blues."
I was like, "Really? Of all the movies to reference, you chose THAT?"
