Here's a list of his defences.
- lost to Edge via DQ - no contest vs Fabulous Moolah - loss title to Kurt Angle
Is this the worst (pre lame MITB cash ins) WWE title reign?

The main thing I think of when I think of that period is Show’s awful slobby look which consisted of a Fu Manchu and jeans for some reason.

The most pathetic part was that he had just come back from ovw because he was demoted for being fat.

This was the most shocking WWE title win to me until Jinder Mahal 15 years later.
Big Show was a pure filler challenger in my mind for Brock to look good against by throwing him around. I gave him zero shot of winning that match.

Did they ever explain how the title went from heel Big Show with Paul Heyman as manager to heel Kurt Angle with Paul Heyman as manager without turning Show face or wanting revenge?

It was still better than his US title reign, when it was forgotten that he was even champion for the majority of the time.

Aside from his ECW title reign, have any of Big Show's title reigns been any good?

I thought they did a decent job in trying to rebuild him on Smackdown in 2002 as on Raw he was mostly on the losing end of feuds or wrestling on Heat.

If I remember correctly, they explained it with Heyman being such a successful manipulator that he convinced Show it was the right thing to do.

His run in late 1999/early 2000 was a joke too. The dude just really never has had good booking on his side.

Show's title reign was the biproduct of the Lesnar face turn. I guess you can say Show''s role at Survivor Series 2002 was that of a double transitional champion. There needed to be a reason to take the belt off Brock and put it on Kurt without either of them touching till WM 19.

It was rather convoluted Stephanie as a babyface GM suspends Brock and the fans boo which pissed her off but she quickly got over it and she waited for Scott Steiner to have sex with her in her office but instead of Steiner Moolah came in her office which annoyed Steph and Moolah said this was her hometown and she wanted to promote her book.Steph said okay why don’t you have a match and we’ll announce your opponent later.Moolah comes out for the match and her opponent is Big Show and Cole & Tazz say Steph is drunk with power and is doing this because these fans in moolah’s hometown booed her.

Yeah they got a lot wrong during this time but it's a bit impressive how they got what had started to seem like a real lost cause in Big Show back on track considering he'd basically been adrift since WrestleMania 2000 with only a few start and stop pushes.

Not much to remember, he has one PPV defense against Bossman is that feud. Than HHH won it on a Raw, and that was it.
