This was the most shocking WWE title win to me until Jinder Mahal 15 years later. Big Show was a pure filler challenger in my mind for Brock to look good against by throwing him around. I gave him zero shot of winning that match. See, I distinctly remember reading a week or two before the match that Heyman was turning on Brock and costing him the title. I was surprised they actually went through with it, but I was definitely anticipating the turn. Either way, the title run sucked. But Heyman was absolutely killing it during this period

Aside from his ECW title reign, have any of Big Show's title reigns been any good? I honestly can’t think of a single good thing he ever did even dating back to WCW. If he was 6’5 he would have been doing something else for the last 20 years.

I hated this. They had Heyman turn on Brock which was an awful decision.
Having said that, Big Shows ECW Title reign was f***ing awesome and it made me realize how much I actually enjoy the guy when he’s not made to look like a goddamn goof all the time.

Ugh, I just remember Show winning against, who was it...Rock, Triple H, and Bulldog? And then him crying and slobbering all over himself. 😝 When he won it? It was against Rock and HHH. By the time Show won, Bulldog was depushed and was wearing jeans teaming with the MSP. Not much to remember, he has one PPV defense against Bossman is that feud. Than HHH won it on a Raw, and that was it. Hmmm, what match was Bulldog in where he actually wore his long Bulldog tights? I remember Bossman beating Rock for the #1 contender match. Yep, Show vs. Bossman for the title on ppv. That's what the people wanted.

I believe Bulldog wore his tights in the unforgiven 99 6 pack challenge.

That's the only time I remember him wearing them.

Show seemed like a big jobber to Brock and Heymans "He's too big" promo to Brock was laughable but the heel turn was really random and strange. You telling me he saw more money in Big Show at this time?

Aside from his ECW title reign, have any of Big Show's title reigns been any good? His final world title reign was short but good, a banger of a match with Sheamus to win it, unveiled the giant chair to retain the title against Sheamus (I loved the gimmick of Show having all these oversized versions of furniture) and then lost it to Alberto in a creative last man standing match.

This was the era where he was wrestling in the black trousers right?.
I always thought it was weird that he was the one that ended Brock undefeated streak.

I'll agree, this was stellar. The Sheamus Hell in a Cell is what I point to as Show's single finest match.

Show was in it as a last min replacement for Taker. That was Unforgiven which was two PPVs before the one Show won.

A really enjoyable match from this era is Brock vs Show at Royal Rumble 03. Brock tosses Big Show around with some amazing overhead belly to bellys.

You telling me he saw more money in Big Show at this time? I always took it that he was feeling he was losing control over Brock, who was less dependent on Heyman. Heyman could try to hold onto the title by switching sides, or he could risk getting tossed aside.
