For anyone who didn't follow TNA back in the day, they did an angle with the tag team, Beer Money, Robert Roode and James Storm. Roode had earned a world title match against Kurt Angle at their biggest show of the year. They were pushing Roode as the "everyman" who worked hard to finally get his opportunity. At the ppv, Kurt Angle cheated and won. The very next television show, Kurt came out to brag about his win and James Storm came out to take up for his partner, which led to an impromptu title match, which Storm won. The next week, Roode turned on his friend and partner in route to becoming the champion, as he was jealous and felt that Storm had stolen his moment.
I say all of that to ask if anyone feels that we may see any of that out of this New Day storyline with Kofi coming up short at WrestleMania, only for Big E or Xavier to win it the next week. While I don't necessarily see that happening, I think it is worth at least mentioning given that most of WWE's backstage employees were TNA employees at that time.

That would be monumentally stupid. You never pull a TNA, but this is the WWE so there’s at least a 54.3% chance that it happen.

YOU KNOW THEY SAY ALL BOOKING DECISIONS ARE CREATED EQUAL, BUT YOU LOOK AT TNA AND YOU LOOK AT WWE AND YOU CAN SEE THATS JUST NOT TRUE. NOW NORMALLY IF YOU WAS TO GO ONE ON ONE WITH A GOOD OR BAD ANGLE, YOU GOT A 53.4% CHANCE AT DOING, BUT VINCE IS A GENETIC JACKHAMMER, AND HES NOT NORMAL, SO YOU GOT A 26.7% AT BEST, OF NOT BOOKING THIS. THEN YOU TAKE KURT ANGLE OUT OF THE MIX? YOUR CHANCES OF BOOKING DRASTILY GO UP. YOU SEE THE THREE MAN TEAM, OF NEW DAY, YOU GOT A 33.3% CHANCE OF BEING THE FIRST TO WIN THE TITLE, BUT DANIEL BRYAN, HE GOT A 66 2/3 CHANCE OF WINNING CAUSE KURT ANGLE KNOWS HE CANT BE IN THIS STORY SO HES NOT EVEN GONNA TRY. SO KOFI KINGSTON, YOU TAKE YOUR 33 1/3 CHANCE OF WINNING, MINUS VINCE'S 26.7% CHANCE OF BOOKING THIS, IF THIS WAS TNA, AND YOU GOT A 6.63% CHANCE AT BEST, OF WINNING. THEN YOU TAKE DANIEL BRYANS 53.4% CHANCE OF BOOKING, PLUS THE NEW DAY'S 66 2/3 CHANCE OF WINNING THE TITLE BEFORE YOU, YOU GOT A 120.06% CHANCE, OF BEING BOOKED LIKE BEER MONEY. YOU SEE KOFI, THE NUMBERS DONT LIE, AND THEY SPELL DISASTER FOR YOU, AT WRESTLEMANIA.

The way the WWE has been booking and more so it's baby faces, I can honestly see this happening more than I ever should. Looking at how lazy and bad WWE booking as been. Can we say they been not almost TNA levels. Lets look at recent events. We had a World cup featuring only the US and was won by Shane McMahon of all people. We have Rhonda saying screw to the WWE fans and calling it fake and go into a twitter war with Becky. (If that not a Russo move than what is?) Elias as turned faced and heel without reason by attacking Jeff Jarrett. We have Batista attacking Flair a 70 year old man. That lead the whole reason was to get his last match to be against HHH at WM for "holding" him down. Dispute the fact Batista already been HHH at WM for the title and 2 rematches. Was multi time World champion and the center piece of Smackdown while Main Eventing a number of PPVs. We have had Braun the red hot face get squashed by Brock. Randomly turns heel and than face. This is the same company who thinks we need Boron Corbin all over our TVs and pushed. Point is with most guys backstage now all TNA people, this wouldn't be that far fetched.

No. The New Day breaking up and feuding would be terrible. They've been over for years now, and the crowds still love them. It would be completely out of their established characters for either E or Woods to go for a title shot while Kofi has an interest in it.

You know. Any time I find myself asking, "Should I do the thing that TNA did?" My mind always comes up, "Hard no."

I have called that New Day are turning on Kofi the night after Mania
Because this is right up Vince's booking alley...he gives the audience the moment at WM and then pulls the rug out the very next night
If I remember it right Dbry won the title at WM30 and the very next night he gets murked by Kane

I don't think they should break up, but where I thought they were going with the Vince promo last night was that Vince was going to try to drive a wedge between them and say that Big E was the one who should be a star and make Kofi win the title shot by beating the other two in a handicap match. Again I don't want them to split but I thought that would have been interesting.

What happened the next night was Bryan being put defending against Triple H with the deck stacked ridiculously against him and then the Shield saved him.

I thought by pulling a TNA you meant not paying The New Day anymore.

Book it Vince.
I would have still have Kofi still win at Mania.
Then have the other two turn on him the next night. Give the title to a crazy heel Big E with Woods as his hype man.
I’m sure the New Day still sells a lot of merch but it’s been stale for years. If I see another Usos vs. New Day match I’ll rip my eyes out.

I don’t want Big E or Xavier anywhere near the world title.
I’m not even big on Kofi winning it. But I can see the appeal and why other people are into it.

What I wouldn't mind seeing is Kofi winning the title and giving his boys a shot at it in a triple threat as a thank you for all their support in getting him to WM. Nobody turns, he just wants to do something nice for his friends.
