For the record, AJ and Orton already had a match that main evented an episode of SmackDown. It was really good. I guess, but if Cena/Taker was considered a dream match then I can consider this the same too It can be your dream match, but it's one we've seen within the past couple of years. It got plenty of time and had a very memorable sequence where AJ faked out Orton.

Rock/Brock.
I know it happened in 2002, but both have been in a different stratosphere since then. The fact that they wanted Cena and HHH to get their wins back on Rock and Brock respectively rather than doing the Hollywood star vs MMA star is ridiculous.

It's sad that most of these "dream matches" involving guys on the current roster could just as easily be one off matches on RAW or Smackdown.

Rusev vs. Brock. It’s a match that we’ll never get and it would be a great hard hitting affair. not the biggest though, just one I’d like to see. Happened in Mexico at a house show - it's on Dailymotion/YT. There's a part where Rusev locks in the Accolade, and Brock just swiftly ducks under and gives him a German. I agree though, with a built-up Rusev, he and Brock could have a killer match.

I don't give a f*** what anybody says about it: They could announce Hogan-Austin for Wrestlemania RIGHT NOW, and I would sell everything I owned just to afford a nosebleed seat. It would be worth it to see the 2 biggest stars in the history of the wrestling business square off. Yeah, it would be terrible, but the atmoshphere would be absolute magic. You would literally be seeing history in front of you.
And before anybody comes at me with any pro-Rock nonsense, look, I don't like the guy, never have. That said, he is easily the number 2 guy the business has ever seen. He has become a much bigger star OUTSIDE of wrestling than Austin, but within the world of wrestling, Hogan and Austin are 1A. and 1B., Rock is a close 2nd.
Hogan is hard to even place because, while he never had the kind of movie-star power that the Rock had, his presence in the mainstream during the 80s cannot be overstated. The dude was EVERYWHERE. While Rock might be a more conventional A-lister, Hogan had equal presence in mainstream coverage, if not more. And while Austin probably never quite reached the mainstream in quite the same way as Hogan, I would say he has managed to retain more respect within the wrestling world than Hogan, as Austin retired while still at a relatively high point in his career, went out with a bang, and has largely kept his appearances sporadic and fun since. Hogan, on the other hand, just drug the corpse of his career on and on through dirtier and dirtier depths, long after he was useful in the ring or as a draw. His name will always mean something and he'll always get a huge initial pop, but he's not what he could have been with a little self-control.
I went on a rant there. I had a thought process going on, and I didn't wanna stop it. Analyzing wrestling is the only thing I really get to do for fun. Music is my first love, but it's also my career. It's nice to not think about it sometimes.
I'm also really f***ing tired, and herbally impaired.
I'm gonna shut up now. Goodnight.

I never want to see Rocky's BURIAL MACHINE (2010's Model) ever again. Now, Reigns vs. Nakamura? I still want that. Maybe it's not a dream match in the purest sense of the term but I feel it'd be a lot of fun.

Maybe it's not a dream match in the purest sense of the term but I feel it'd be a lot of fun. The final minutes of the 2018 Rumble between Roman and Nak were a lot of fun, so I think I'd be down with that. Maybe they can move Nak to Raw during the shakeup (or Roman to SD) and do that at a PPV.

They could never get it together I don't think but Rock vs. Batista, in terms of main stream interest.

It’s too bad Angle can’t go anymore because Kurt Angle vs Daniel Bryan would be nothing short of epic

I still want Ronda vs Asuka.
And give her about a year to develop and Rhea Ripley vs Becky Lynch will be a hell of a fight.
