Someone please explain to me the appeal of this match. People harp on it a lot and I've never heard a reason for it other than 'they were both big! And around in 2003!' I love Batista but Brock is a once-in-a-generation kind of talent, and I don't think it would work at all. Apart from that, I don't know what juice that feud would have either, what would it be about? ...Being around in 2003? I think the match would probably suck unless it was some really good smoke and mirrors (Lesnar vs Goldberg is probably the model to pattern it after, just big spot, big spot, big spot, big spot, go home) BUT, this is easy to market as a huge attraction.
Douchetista vs Paul Heyman on promos alone is enough for a month or more of amazing television.
They also could tell the story of two dominant monsters who both started in OVW, both went on to be world champions early in their respective careers, both went on to achieve super stardom outside of WWE, and except for maybe brushing into each other in a segment once or twice, and a few early encounters in OVW, they have NEVER touched.
If a promoter can't sell that match, he shouldn't be promoting.

The fact that we haven’t gotten Lashley vs Lesnar is a crime. I’ve been wanting to see that match since Lashley debuted and even more now that Lashley has legit MMA credentials under his belt. I’ll take it in a WWE ring, an Octagon, even an amateur mat. I don’t care what the scenario is, I need to see it.

I think the door has closed it on it as a big PPV match, but Lashley/Lesnar is something they should at least do for one of those Beast in the East type shows. Knowing Brock, though, he'd probably rather work with Lio than Lashley.

I don't give a f*** what anybody says about it: They could announce Hogan-Austin for Wrestlemania RIGHT NOW, and I would sell everything I owned just to afford a nosebleed seat. It would be worth it to see the 2 biggest stars in the history of the wrestling business square off. Yeah, it would be terrible, but the atmoshphere would be absolute magic. You would literally be seeing history in front of you. And before anybody comes at me with any pro-Rock nonsense, look, I don't like the guy, never have. That said, he is easily the number 2 guy the business has ever seen. He has become a much bigger star OUTSIDE of wrestling than Austin, but within the world of wrestling, Hogan and Austin are 1A. and 1B., Rock is a close 2nd. Hogan is hard to even place because, while he never had the kind of movie-star power that the Rock had, his presence in the mainstream during the 80s cannot be overstated. The dude was EVERYWHERE. While Rock might be a more conventional A-lister, Hogan had equal presence in mainstream coverage, if not more. And while Austin probably never quite reached the mainstream in quite the same way as Hogan, I would say he has managed to retain more respect within the wrestling world than Hogan, as Austin retired while still at a relatively high point in his career, went out with a bang, and has largely kept his appearances sporadic and fun since. Hogan, on the other hand, just drug the corpse of his career on and on through dirtier and dirtier depths, long after he was useful in the ring or as a draw. His name will always mean something and he'll always get a huge initial pop, but he's not what he could have been with a little self-control. I went on a rant there. I had a thought process going on, and I didn't wanna stop it. Analyzing wrestling is the only thing I really get to do for fun. Music is my first love, but it's also my career. It's nice to not think about it sometimes. I'm also really f***ing tired, and herbally impaired. I'm gonna shut up now. Goodnight. Of course I’d love it but they are so far past it that it would just be sad

Bryan vs Cena 2 is my personal number one. For first time evers, I’d say Finn vs Bryan.

For first time evers, I’d say Finn vs Bryan. Erm.... Mods: please mask if necessary. To my knowledge, this isn't covered under the WWE copyright umbrella.

By WWE's terms, anything with HHH is the biggest dream match ever so...

These wouldn't be dream matches for general wrestling fans, but my WWE dream matches would be Shirai vs. Asuka, Shirai vs. Banks, Shirai vs. Flair, and Shirai vs. Lynch.

Rusev vs. Brock. It’s a match that we’ll never get and it would be a great hard hitting affair. not the biggest though, just one I’d like to see. I saw this match at a house show in San Jose the night before the Super Bowl was held at Levi's Stadium in 2016. I figured the reason Brock was even at a house show is because he was going to the S.B. and stopped by for an easy payday. My friend recorded it on his phone. INCLUDING entrances the whole thing lasts 10 minutes. So you know, the usual effort you get out of Brock.

I agree with all the Bryan matches already mentioned here that we haven't seen before. I will add Bryan v Mysterio.
