I say we give him the amount of attention on this as he gave me when I met him as in none at all (I'm not bitter about it I swear)

It's interesting to me just how many people insist on suggesting matches other than the women's match, to close Wrestlemania. If it's not Brock vs Seth, it's Kofi vs Bryan, and now Styles vs Orton too (despite that not even being a title match). I'm sure that, before too long, we'll get people saying it should be Triple H vs Batista, or Angle vs Cena, or any other match too.
Hmm. Curious.

I know what you're implying, but Rousey's general Rousey-ness and McMahon-a-Mania has sapped a lot of the interest out of that match. As much as Becky may deserve the show's "final image" to be her standing triumphant, Ronda's kinda sucked the life out of the match.

I feel like Orton is the wrestling equivalent of a "comedian's comedian". I mean he's good but everyone in the WWE puts him on this gigantic pedestal. Not criticising Orton but I find it really interesting the amount of praise he gets from his peers for a guy who has never been a stratosphere breaking star. It has felt more this way in recent years cause he feels like a part-time wrestler almost. Like he'll be the guy they bring him in for a few top matches and if they want someone to transition the belt. But book him like he's the guy, stick a good storyline on him and he can be pretty entertaining. Look at his heel work in 2009, never seen a better heel. His work during the Evolution vs Shield storyline was not too shabby either. I enjoy watching him when he's on. You're right, you give him the right material and he sinks himself into it. I just find it interesting that no other wrestler of that generation gets as much in house praise as Orton does. Makes me think about how they see each other compared to how we as "smart" fans do. Take Big Show for example. He has said that he would be paired up with younger guys specifically for on the job teaching with regards to positioning and crowd reaction.

I mean, Brock vs. Seth I mostly think comes less as a, "We want to see it close," than, "WWE could easily have it close," while with Bryan / Kofi it's probably just because at this point it's the hotter program because the triple threat's booking has made it go cold. Granted, I still think it should close myself, but at this juncture it's really just because it'll be the best possible opportunity for the foreseeable future to reach that level and I've really lost most interest in the match itself.

Honestly, if I were on this card, I wouldn't want on the show closing spot anyway. The crowd is going to be burnt out regardless of the quality of the show, and it's probably going to be cold as hell in the stadium, even if the weather is close to ideal.
However, Becky/Ronda/Charlotte have the most to gain from going last, because there's actual prestige for them being the first women's match to close out Mania. Meanwhile, every other main event level match should be gunning to get on earlier in the card, because that's just how Wrestlemania is now. The longer Wrestlemania runs, the more valuable the earlier spots on the card are going to be.

You can blame Ronda Rousey and the booking team for that. The storyline was red hot a couple months ago; you wouldn't have have seen many folks suggesting anything else close the show. But the story's been spinning it's wheels for a while now, so people aren't as high on Becky as they were, and Rousey's idiocy has turned a lot of people off as well. Kofi/Bryan is killing it the same way the Becky saga *was*, and since it's close to Wrestlemania time, a lot of people naturally want to see the hottest story main event. Nobody wants Seth/Brock. Lol. It ain't "because women".

they could always do what they did for that one mania and have 5 of the 8 matches on the card be billed as a "main event" so they'd be covered

As much as Becky may deserve the show's "final image" to be her standing triumphant, Ronda's kinda sucked the life out of the match. Think about it a different way. If the women's match doesn't close the show, then it's more likely Rousey wins.

This is the Warrior/Savage of this show. Two guys who could easily be in the main event, but are doing an attraction grudge match instead. But, still one of the main things on the card. But, not the main event and going on last.

Personally, this is the match I’m looking forward to the most because it will steal the show and I literally can’t think of how the RKO from outta know where will happen. But close the show...... ??

Yeah if someone wants to make the claim/prediction that this will steal the show, I think that's a very good possibility. But that's a separate discussion.

Yea you get some of these guys were the wrestling "insiders" like former wrestlers thinks really highly of. Another one is Dolph Ziggler. I often hear former pros praise him and it's probably a feeling shared in the WWE itself as he keep getting his contract renewed. I don't get what they see in him that some of us don't, to be so revered. Del Rio is probably another one that behind closed doors the guys in charge like. Cannot push them well, though.

Now the weird dude is going to frame it that we're anti Randy Orton and anti Aj Styles if we disagree
Honestly, the Kofi match should be main eventing Wrestlemania if Kofi is winning

I think it should either open, or be in one of the 2/3rds of the way back up slots to heat the crowd up again before the main events.
