Both guys are former members of the Wyatt family who briefly flirted with sustained main event pushes that never really went anywhere. Braun is currently feuding with SNL stars and is in many ways a joke character now. Bray Wyatt has been off television since August of last year and I don't think many fans even realize that he is missing. So which guy is better off at the moment?

Braun would be fine if they would get serious about making him The Monster Among Men (Kane 2.0) instead of a joke.
Bray is a convoluted and borderline incoherent mess and will never be much more than he is.

About the only argument for Bray is that he's a former world champion, but Strowman will get his eventually.

Bray isn’t having to currently do the nonsense that Braun is. So, he wins. Plus, he won the WWE Championship at one point, so he has that too.

These last 6 months have been the best Bray has ever been.
Bray being gone is one of the few bright spots about RAW/Smackdown

Braun. On TV every week. Interacting with people WWE believes are big gets. Plus merch money and he still gets big cheers. Not too shabby.

At least I can see scenarios in which I'd want to watch Braun Strowman if he were being used correctly. Bray hasn't shown up on TV in eight months and I'm still sick of him.

Bray, because he's not on TV making people realize "this guy was main eventing and now he's feuding with SNL guys over a toy car and just willingly entered himself into a WrestleMania pre show match."

Braun could be right back up there at the top of the card with 2-3 weeks of a good push/programme.
Bray, on the other hand... I really think he's done-zo.

Currently, Braun -- and there isn't even a question about it.
Braun gets regular TV time, is regularly featured in main events and has been booked to be unstoppable for the most part. It's the typical push a giant gets -- they could have put the title on him for a bit, but I'd argue he can't have the matches you need to carry a world title. Reigns can, Rollins can, that's why they're constantly in the mix. He's going to get a title and be a transitional champion and that is totally fine.
That said, Bray had a great run that only really petered out around the time of the Finn/Sister Abigail stuff. He had a good run with Matt Hardy and got a tag title run out of it.
In the long run, I think Braun/Bray will have pretty similar careers by the time it's all said and done. Braun's knees won't hold up forever. Bray has more longevity right now - he's had an important match or an important segment at every Mania he's been involved in since he debuted and this will be the only one since his debut where he hasn't been involved.

Wyatt was booked like shit for longer and kept his heat for longer, but is now not on TV, so... uh... look over there!
