The women better be the main event. At least then they'll be able to tout it as being historic. Otherwise, this is one of the weakest WrestleMania lineups of all time.

We don't want larger quantities of the same shit, Vince.
We want you to do better with less.

Who has ever been able to watch all WWE footage anyway? All of velocity, all of smackdown, all of jakked, all of raw, tough enough etc.....
Who watches all of any sport?

Fun fact: A single day on Mercury is two Earth years long or about the length of WrestleMania 35.

You know, I remember when WCW aired the All-Nighter special in ‘94 and ‘95; watching six straight hours of wrestling sounded like the greatest thing ever to me. Of course, this was back before wrestling was so accessible; when “video on demand” meant going to the local Blockbuster and demanding that it carried your favorite film. Plus it was an excuse to stay up late, which every kid wanted to do. It’s unreal that those shows are now SHORTER than WrestleMania.
But this? This might be the first ‘Mania I don’t watch live since 22. I kept falling asleep during last year’s show, so I’ll just wait for it to go into the archives so I can watch it at my leisure.
Best of luck to any forum members who will actually be there.

I know everyone wants a Wrestlemania pay day but why are they so intent that they all have to have singles matches? Either keep guys off the show or give us some shorter matches, no one wants to watch a wrestling show that's over 4 hours long and even that's pushing it.
The super long ppv's and the unwatchable, both volume and content, shows all week mean it's almost impossible to stay up to date on what's going on. To me wrestling would be way better off with a 2 hour Raw, 2 hour Smackdown and 3 hour ppv. Raw and Smackdown weekly and one ppv every six weeks. Throw in a network special or two and then just give us stuff on the network that highlights the character's personality and makes us want to see them more. The current schedule is burning out fans just like the crazy travel schedule of the 90's burned out the wrestlers.

Even if I wanted to get into the product, I simply don't have the time it would take to commit to Raws, Smackdowns, and major PPVs. There is just too much. I already skip 205 Live for the most part, and NXT UK, unless I hear about a really good match on either. I miss the first hour of RAW and Smackdown usually too, and it still feels overwhelming. I do this and even skip regular NXT, too. I know it's good, but I'm already wrestled-out by Wednesday. One fewer hour of Raw would be wonderful. Then regular PPVs can be only 3 hours and Mania doesn't have to last a f***ing entire day.

Wrestling ain't that good vince Even if it was terrific wrestling I still couldn't sit there and watch it for 6+ hours. Or even really more than about 2 hours at this point, to be honest.

What's sad is that it'll be that long in part because they'll have too many matches AND too many backstage skits, video packages, long entrances, and other things to slow down the proceedings and take people out of what's going on.

I'm sure that it's going to be the tightest 12 hours in WWE history. So tight, in fact, that consideration may be given to cutting the hobo parade.

I agree that this is getting to the point where Mania will need to be split into two over an entire weekend BUT that poses its own problems. They got the HOF They got NXT I'd move NXT Takeover to the week before WrestleMania.

It's one thing to be the longest event in history. It's a totally different thing to be "this feels like the longest event in history".
And the lead up to this show makes me think it will be the latter

Break the show up. Have a proper intermission or two.

NXT Takeover’s are consistently critically acclaimed and generally clock in at 2.5 hours. Just sayin’

Having been exhausted the last few years due to the length of the show and being there live, I'm happy that I'll be at home for this one. If the temperature is supposed to be around 40-45 (average) at night in NY around that time, then I'm completely fine not sitting in an outdoor stadium for 7+ hours. Really wish they'd dial these back to even 5 hours total between kickoff and main show.
If you are going this year, and haven't gone before, please keep these tips in mind.
1) Don't 100% rely on stadium food for meals. Eat early and grab some snacks for later in the show. Last year the Superdome ran out of the food about an hour before the event ended. We couldn't even find a pretzel on the main concourse.
2) It's on a Sunday night. Restaurants don't typically stay open late and some fast food places can be hard to come by. After the show in New Orleans, pizza places were 2-3 hours wait, the 24-hour shops were overloaded. Unless you want to wait a long while after a long show, have something waiting in the hotel for you for when you arrive back.
*I realize that New York is different than New Orleans, but this is something we have run into in Dallas, Orlando, and New Orleans. It has been consistent*
