Ever since I joined the board in 2007 I’ve only seen negativity about Raw. The only full year I’ve heard good things about Raw was maybe 2008. Ever since the draft Raws mainly been the quality B show, when would you say was the last good or decent full year?

I missed Raw from 2005 until the second half of 2011, basically, so I can't really comment on those years. There have been some decent episodes since I started watching again, but 2001 may have been the last time I watched where it was good consistently throughout the year even with the Invasion shit.

I'd go a year earlier myself, chief.

The last time I really enjoyed it on a week to week basis was probably summer and fall 2003, believe it or not. I liked Evolution, Shawn Michaels as a full timer, Jericho doing fun stuff, a bunch of ex-WCW guys, and I loved the Austin/Bischoff co-GM stuff.
But really since the original brand split in 2002, weekly TV and really WWE in general has been very hit and miss.

I'd go a year earlier myself, chief. But....Chief Morley didn't appear until 2002.

I enjoyed the summer of 2010. Nexus, Cena was watchable, Evan Bourne was being pushed, Orton was insanely over as a face. It was a fun time.
2011 through early 2013 were enjoyable as well. Started tailing off round about the time Roman's singles push started. Not necessarily because of that, its just the most significant detail I can remember of the time.

Raw has always been hit and miss but around the Supershow era it congealed into a mass amount tedious repetition that I felt it never really recovered from. Smackdown got that way too until the brand split and has been up and down since then (but rarely as monotonous as Raw in the past three years).

It's kind of like a raffle or lottery where you hope your ticket comes up and you win a prize. More often than not you win nothing but every now and then you get lucky.
That's how I feel about Raw. Most weeks are somewhere between boring to flat out awful. But every so often you get lucky and catch a really good episode.
It just so happens as the years go on our luck seems to be running out.

I don’t even know. But I think, for a lot of us, it’s more a matter of just being watchable. And Raw often struggles to reach that low standard.

I think it was good during the Shield's original run. At least all the 6 man main events were good anyway. I forget how the rest of the show was tbh.

I seem to recall 2006 being pretty solid.

The pipebomb and Bryan’s rise. After that I gave them another shot once Braun became an angry god destroyer but once they turned him heel I stopped watching. Frankly I don’t think I’ll return, I only keep up with wrestling thanks to fan.

2000, but I’ll say the first few months of 2001 qualify as well. The Invasion angle is when the Fonz was getting ready to jump.

This for me, though I started to lose interest in Raw a couple weeks after it went to three hours. Generally through these time periods it was good and entertaining.

The last time I was really invested with the show more often than not was during the Nexus angle.

Or, as I call it, 1999. And a few stints in the 2000's... minus the guest host era.
