Dominic is apparently trying to become a wwe star and rey I could see going for a few more years. Could they be a tag team? And eventually fued? I think a tag team is almost a forsure thing but what about a match or fued between the two? Now I wouldn’t make it a personal blood fued (it would make less sense with a father f***ing over his son than 2 brothers fighting) but a passing of the torch like thing?

Offhand it's definitely not the first father / son feud in WWE - Shane / Vince comes immediately to mind - and Randy and Bob Orton tagged together at least once.

Could be interesting, but wouldn't be the first. Verne and Greg Gagne teamed semi-frequently in the halcyon days of the AWA. Dusty Rhodes teamed with Dustin in early-90s WCW. Chavo Sr. and Jr. have teamed in the past. I mean, honestly, to a certain extent Vince and Shane feuding and teaming together off and on over the last 20 years probably counts too.

Yo.
It was mad dumb that Dominick was in a segment and then Joe didn't beat him up.
Has anyone in WWE ever heard of Chekhov's Gun? No?

It feels probable. Rey is the kind of talent that companies arguably ought to appease, and it'd hardly be the worst thing in the world provided both could go.

Have any of them ever won tag titles together though? Fued wise, the McMahon’s are obviously a bunch of lunatics, while rey has been a babyface the majority of his career so I could see Dominick turning heel on him and rey doing everything he can to not fight him or just do a face vs face passing of the torch

If we're talking all wrestling, to the best of my knowledge Larry Hennig & Curt Hennig were the first ever father-son tag champs.

Dominic is Eddie's son, though

Didn't Jason Jordan and Kurt Angle tag once?

It’s a shame Billy Gunn and Dolph Ziggler never got to team up.

Dusty and Dustin teamed in WWE as well before that.

Time sure flies, seems Dominic was a snot nosed kid just recently. Yeah, that's wrestling for you. Or more specifically, WWE, because a show from 2002 onwards looks exactly like now, pretty much.

Given Dominic's height, Rey's wife must be at least 6'4.

Speaking of which, it's pretty wild that Bret teamed with Stu for a few matches in Stampede, and British Bulldog even teamed with Harry/DH Smith a few times right before he died. Father/son tag teams are pretty cool, so if Dominic has something, I'm definitely into it.

The biggest takeaway from that segment for me was the Rey didn't seem to have the mohawk on his mask. Maybe that terrible nude/thong outfit he had on last week was a hitting bottom moment, and Dominic showed up to give his dad a fashion intervention.
