Traditionally, WrestleMania's the show where faces usually go out on top and we have things end on a high to send people home happy, though there's been exceptions (WM34 last year and WM33 the year before being notable examples), it's generally the show where big feuds come to a definite end.
With this year's Mania, there's three title matches that could conceivably go on last and each of them should ideally have the face winning in the end, even if WWE likes to throw curveballs on this model for better or worse.

WWE is all about sending Vince home happy.

originally of those three matches, a month or two ago I would have initially put- in order of "people going home happiness" 1) becky wins 2) rollins wins 3) Daniel bryan loses
now I have to say it's trending towards 1) kofi wins 2) ronda loses 3) brock loses
which given the RAW > SD in the eyes of the wwe having the universal title win be the least exciting of the three is rather surprising. having said that I doubt the wwe will have kofi/bryan be the last match of mania.

WM needs to end with either Kofi or Becky winning. Seth winning would make people happy, too, but that match is a distant third on my list of matches that should close.

Wrestlemania 2000 was the first one I believe where the main event did not send the fans home happy.

Wrestlemania 2000 was the first one I believe where the main event did not send the fans home happy. Trips won the belt, but IIRC, Rock got his heat back by beating up HHH and Vince. Though the true "happy ending" wouldn't come until Backlash with that amazing finish and Stone Cold running in to raise hell.

Wrestlemania 2000 was the first one I believe where the main event did not send the fans home happy. I was going to say Wrestlemania 9 was the first one, but the crowd went crazy when Hogan beat Yokozuna.

Wrestlemania 2000 was the first one I believe where the main event did not send the fans home happy. Near the peak of the Attitude Era, they gave the fans a straight dud of a main event.

Would mania 31 be considered sending the fans home happy? Technically a heel won, but I’m sure everyone wanted to see Rollins cash in his MITB

All three should be happy endings, but because Vince is actually a rotten person on the inside, like actually a terrible human being, it won't happen.

I fully believe they want people to "tune in next week" more than they want to "send people home happy"
Which is why Mania doesn't seem to end feuds/stories like it used to. Every single World Title Match will have a rematch within a month, I guarantee it.

Yeah, and for the foreseeable future Brock will be a shadow over that red monstrosity. He's going to be long gone from not just the title scene but WWE before I think people will be celebrating Raw title wins and loses.

Wrestlemania now is about sending the fans home exhausted, not happy.

I'm just hoping for a show with good action and interesting developments. Couple that with the parking lot being relatively easy to get out of and I'll be happy to have experienced it.
