I was thinking back to when Triple H was in the ring cutting a promo on Batista and calling Ric Flair by his shoot name "Richard Fliehr." And I think this was the first time "Richard Fliehr" has been mentioned in storyline. Then, Hunter mentioned how Dave wasn't going to be facing "the character" at WrestleMania. Then I though, this was a good way for Triple H to transition into Paul Levesque and drop the Triple H moniker. Kind of like the way Mick Foley stopped using Mankind. Since Paul Levesque is starting to take over as the on air face of the WWE brand, as McMahon is getting much older and who knows how many years he has left, would you be happy with Paul eventually dropping the Triple H name, and just using Paul Levesque both in kayfabe and real life?

Much like how Vince differentiates himself from 'Mr. McMahon,' as long as he's an on-air character he'll never stop being Triple H when addressing the crowds.

I really don't see any reason to stop calling him Triple H. It's what everyone knows him as and how he's established as a character. There's no need to bring a real life element into it just because.

HHH: Now Triple H is an tough son of a bitch. Triple H is a pretty damn good ass kicker, Triple H is one hell of a fighter. So it saddens me to say that after the beating you gave me at Wrestlemania, one thing Triple H is not, is ready to face you in a rematch at the Money in the Bank in Hartford... but I think the WWE universe deserves a substitute in that match. So what I'm gonna do Dave, is I'm going to name him right now.
*HHH puts on a purple robe*
HHH: As a matter a fact, I think you know the guy, and I think you know him pretty damn well.
*HHH then places a fluffy blond wig on his head while Batista looks on in stunned fear*
HHH: His name, is Terra Ryzing! And his first official act as part of the WWE, is to kick your teeth, all over the city of Brooklyn!

WrestleMania 28 should’ve been the end of Triple H (and Undertaker tbh). I think the Bryan and Rollins matches were necessary. He should of been done after losing to his own move at mania 33 |

Absolutely not.
One weird thing I like about wrestling is that Triple H isn't called 'Paul' by people casually on TV, but 'Hunter.' It's a weird bit of internal continuity even as the Reality Era weirdness kicks in.
I know these promos have been some exceptions to that but please no. Undertaker calls Mick Foley 'Jack,' for f***'s sake. Backstage!
