So the Kenny Omega documentary is airing tonight over in Canada and I assume the states as well. Quite intrigued to see it tbh, should be interesting, Furthermore, here’s an interview John Pollock just posted with Kenny, that goes into a lot of detail about the last few months, including leaving NJPW, the Tanahashi match and AEW in general. www.postwrestling.com/2019/03/26/post-interview-kenny-omega/

Wasn't there supposed to be a HBO documentary?

Wasn't there supposed to be a HBO documentary? They’re one and the same. HBO Canada is a division of Bell, who also owns TSN. Originally, it was rumoured to be in the HBO Canada rotation as well, but I’ve seen no word on that yet.

Stupid question time, is there any legal way to watch it in the U.S.?

It’s your best bet.

Anyone in Canada watching this? Pretty wild to see DDT Pro footage on national television.

It was really well done. Nothing groundbreaking for NJPW fans, but it was an exceptionally well done doc.

Loved the documentary. It was a good indication of how important Kota Ibushi also was instrumental for Kenny Omega's career and how big of a role he played in Omega's key matches. Highly recommended.
For US fans, I know that they're working of having it released in the US soon so you gonna have to be patient.

Wasn't sure what to expect, but found it refreshing it ended up being a love letter of sorts to the relationship of the Golden Lovers.
Also, that part where Ibushi was crying in the hallway after Omega ditched him and left with the Bucks.
Ugh, can I have my heart back now?

This was posted in its entirety on r/squaredcircle for those in the US who want to watch. I started it the other night, but fell asleep after a few min, so I can’t comment on if I thought it was good or not. Might try to watch it again this week.
