Giants cut Joe Panik. He hasn’t been good in roughly 3 full seasons, but still sad to see him go.
Went from winning a World Series his first year (2014), to an All-Star and Gold Glover the following years respectively to being not very good at all, offensively or defensively.

Lorenzo Cain hurt after fouling a ball off his leg. Doesn't sound good either.

Padres are no hitting the Mariners through 6. Someone take Seattle out back and put them out of their misery. It’s for the good of their fans.

The Red Sox are currently losing to the Royals and losing a series to them just might be the breaking point for Sox Nation.

If the Yankees end up winning this game, they will have won every single game they've played in Camden Yards this season.

If only the Cubs could play every game at Wrigley. 22 games over .500 at home, 12 under on the road. This recent homestand was very prosperous. Going from 1/2 a game back to three up in the division. But it’s time to hit the road again, and if things don’t get better there, the division will likely still go down to the wire.

52 HRs versus the O's this season. And there's another 4-game series happening in a couple of days. Jesus...

I've got to appreciate the way the Yanks refuse to cut any slack to the O's. Just a relentless pounding this entire series. I would've thought after they swept the Sox they'd have a letdown series. But nope.
Also props to the Scranton offense for putting Baltimore back on pace to give up 1,000 runs this season.

It looked like it was gonna be a letdown series though. While they did sweep, they almost blew half the games late.
Meanwhile, the Royals/Sox game had to be suspended due to rain. Game will resume August 22nd.
And I guess this is breaking news: The Yankees and White Sox will be playing a series at the Field of Dreams in Iowa in 2020.

The Red Sox are currently losing to the Royals and losing a series to them just might be the breaking point for Sox Nation. Red Sox fans reached the breaking point between the team doing jack at the trade deadline and getting swept by the MFY. They're now worrying about Tom Brady selling his house.

Gio Urshela. That's it. That's the post. Mike Tauchman, Austin Romine Those dudes have been hitting over the last 2 weeks or so in the absence of Gary who was becoming a black hole at the plate after his hot start and Giancarlo who I don't think has gotten 50 ABs this year Gio really made the 3B his though I still think if the team is fully healthy come playoffs, he is coming off the bench while they play D.J. at 3rd, Didi short, Gleyber 2nd and Voit at 1st

When are the Red Sox going to change their score board from showing the AL East standings to the AL Wild Card standings. I think that is more relevant.

It's incredible how The Yankees can have a Nuclear Warhead dropped on them and they call up guys who just do the exact same thing as the other guys did, and still be a good team, while The Phillies, as touted as they were to start the year, have Cutch and some bullpen either go down or never start and they are a bigger dumpster fire than 2018
This isn't gonna fly. 2018 had no expectations and no names, the collapse happening didn't piss people off, this year? They're somehow even worse, seemingly haven't gotten started since way early in the year, it's just all fallen apart. Management doesn't seem to give a shit, the team has lost its heart and no one can hit a damn thing, same thing happened to Ramos, Cabrera, and Bour last year when we acquired them which I thought was suspicious but now I know it isn't a coincidence, John Mallee should have been fired long ago, he turns good hitters into absolute turds. Kapler is a shitty manager who has no clue what he's doing, and Klentak is a bum who spent 330 Million ona hitter who won't hit and never addressed the pitching, oh wait, he thought a patchwork old David Robertson would be the answer, and he pitched like nine games this season and they all sucked!
Heads gotta roll this offseason, this is one of the worst Phillies seasons I've ever personally watched with how excited everyone was. We're about to get passed up by the Mets and go to 4th. It's just outright embarrassing, and they should be ashamed of themselves.
Guess I should remember the 2008 World Series for awhile, it'll be the last one the city sees for a long time if they keep this up.
