Bob Costa is awesome, and we go from Costa to ESPN's broadcast. I am glad the Yankees won, so tommorow's game doesn't mean much, so I don't have to watch it and it's terrible broadcast.

Great News: Yankees sweep the Red Sox, essentially burying their repeat aspirations.
Bad News: Gleyber Torres and Gio Urshela left the game due to injuries. When does this shit end?

Yanks complete the sweep. Keeps the division lead at 8 over the red hot Rays, and the Red Sox are 14.5 back. That's great, but on the other hand it's still the beginning of August. Don't let up, Yankees. |

Just got home from the Mets doubleheader. So awesome to see that comeback in person!
I hope McNeil is alright, though. It's bad enough that Cano is out for a bit.
I was going to go tomorrow, but...with a little bit of rain in the forecast and such a long day today, I decided to sell the tickets. They were free, so I got a profit even though I sold them for cheap.
I might go Sunday, though. I want those free trading cards!

If Mets really want to make a run they gotta do two things. 1) Use Lugo more often as the closer. 2) Stop f***ing playing Juan Lagares. The whole starting pitching rotation swings a better bat then him. Guy's a scrub, not a major leaguer. But I did get to catch Alonso's post game interview on tv. L.F.G.M |

Just before the big inning, I asked her if she wanted to leave and she said, "No." I figured I'd just give it one more inning and then force her to leave. ...we didn't leave, haha. |

So we’re putting Michael Wacha back in the rotation again after showing quality stuff in the bullpen...against a Dodgers team he historically pitches poorly against.
