Like 10-20 years from now will she be the babe Ruth of female wrestling? In my 15 years of being a fan, I can’t think of any female that was more over than her or accomplshed more (assuming she wins the first female Mania main event)

Too early to tell but probably . At very least she will be the woman everyone compares when it comes to being over

Eh, no, probably not. I think she might end up going down as one of the best babyfaces they've ever had, though.

She’ll be right in the mix, for sure. We’ll each have our own reasons as to what qualifies her as the GOAT or someone else.

Charlotte is more accomplished and has way more great matches under her belt. I think when's all said and done, WWE will be pushing Charlotte as the GOAT (I don't want to turn this into a Charlotte bashing thread, just how I see it playing out)

In ring? Naw. Most over ever?? Yeah, she's not even close. She's the most over of a rapidly dwindling audience, but Sable was way more over even if she couldn't wrestle or talk or do anything except have giant breasts.

Yeah, Sable was possibly the second or third most over person they had in the Attitude Era. As an adult she does absolutely nothing for me when I watch that shit back, but Becky's not getting those reactions and she's not really a draw. Years from now on you'll probably hear some young female wrestlers just starting out naming Becky as their main inspiration though, absolutely.

If they book her right for the next 3-4 years then yeah. I can easily see her and Charlotte basically being Rock and Austin decades from now. With Becky's overness and being the main star and Charlotte who will undoubtedly win 17 world titles, yeah those 2 are going to do it. They're already on the road.

Yeah, to get at answering the question you really need to ask a young girl and I'm 36 and can't go around asking young girls questions. Right now, Becky is the most entertaining part of a company that I find very unentertaining and maybe in 6-12 months she will still be, but maybe something else will come along in that time to take her over. Whether it's Kofi or Becky, the fans are clearly latching on to people who very good in the ring and entertaining, but clearly aren't WWE's version of who the top person will be. How Becky is booked after Mania will tell a lot, because people boo Daniel Bryan now because he's that over, we're gonna go where he takes us. Can Becky do that? I'm doubtful, because I'm still standing by her not winning at Mania.

Yes, and not only will she be the greatest wrestling ever, period. She'll be the greatest human being voted by every alien species in the galaxy because she'll discover a way for instantanious interstellar travel, solve universal hunger, make a Star Wars movie that everyone loves and she poops chocolate ice cream.

I guess we have to define what makes the GOAT, but if we're going based on quality of work and accomplishments and not personal preference then Charlotte will have her beat and it won't even be close.

Yeah I agree with you there. We could be looking at an HBK/Bret situation.

She's got a long way to go. She's been hot the last while but really she's only had like one truly great match with Charlotte so far, some really good ones in NXT but not nearly the best. Just talking about WWE matches, Charlotte's got a bunch of them. I think this will be looked at as a pretty crucial time for women wrestlers but I don't think any particular one will be propped up more than others. Becky will be up there, but so will Charlotte, Asuka, Bayley, Sasha and others.

TLC vs. Asuka and Charlotte and the Rumble vs. Asuka were also great matches, but she hasn't had a great one without those two on the main roster.

Charlotte was picked out as their 'first woman superstar' ever since NXT decided to make women's wrestling a big thing. Because of course she was - tall, blonde, built and handily related to a wrestling legend. The only thing that could have excited Vince more would have been if she was Hogan's daughter. So it seems like a foregone conclusion that, years from now, the WWE will paint her as the transcendent star who pushed women's wrestling over the top.
In reality, Becky is the first woman on the main roster (ever, I think) who got a pop as loud as that one at the Royal Rumble, and who got crowd reactions as consistently loud and positive as she's had since Summerslam. The WWE's incompetence has definitely had an impact on that - the pops aren't as loud, but they're still noticeable - but when Becky's in a match, she's going to have the majority of the fans behind her. And if the Wrestlemania match goes as it should, she's going to have a huge moment that will establish her as the top woman in the company.
Even if she's not the most talented in the ring (which she'd probably admit herself), we all know that wrestling is about more than just in-ring ability. You need to connect with the fans, you need to get them to really want you to win, and it's inarguable that Becky has done that better than anyone else, in the last eight months. It can take a really short time to establish a legacy that lasts forever - The Rock's full time wrestling career lasted a little over six years, Steve Austin established his lasting legacy in less than two years, from King of the Ring 1996 to Wrestlemania 14. If Becky stays on top through 2019, and into 2020, then it would be hard for anyone to argue she's not a GOAT contender.

They’re obviously going to push Charlotte as the be all end all, and a falling out, injuries, and just wanting a break to do something else always seem to hit the male top dogs so I suspect that some of that will go down with the ladies as well.
I’d honestly say probably not. She’ll be remembered as being over for a while, but that’s about it. Vince is a fickle, fickle man,

Eh I do think Sable, Chyna, Trish and Lita all got bigger pops and were more over than she is now. I'm guessing if everything goes well with her health she has about 6 or 7 more years left so who knows what the future holds, but I just don't know if I see her going down as THE all time greatest. There is something to be said about how invested the crowds always get in her matches, even though I wouldn't call Becky a great wrestler anymore.
