With MitB only 1 month after mania, it had me think of how it's their Get Out of Jail free card come early and Roman's back sooner with good will with there being cash in history btwn roman &seth.
"DA BIG DAWG IS MR CANINE IN THE BARK!" -Future Michael Cole. Probably.

They’d be smart not to do that, but this being the WWE they’ll probably do exactly that.
Once Roman starts winning everything again his support is going to erode and they’ll be right back to square one.

Interestingly (or not) the men's briefcase is on a 2 year losing streak re cash ins. Originally I thought a New Day member would win to cause tension in the group if Kofi is champ but a new troubling thought has crossed my mind...what if the Vince/Kofi feud goes beyond mania and the super Shane push is to set him up for a WWE title reign...

Why not use the MITB briefcase to build a guy, like they used to? Remember when they gave it to Ziggler, or Punk, or RVD, or even Edge in 2005? It can make a guy, if used properly, so why give it to someone who's already one of your top stars?
Not that I doubt the WWE will give it to Reigns. But it could do the world of good for Finn Balor or Andrade.

Sounds like something they would do if Roman was turning heel.
Which you think wouldn't happen so soon after his return but of course....

I think Lesnar's retaining and they're doing him vs. Reigns at SummerSlam.

If Lesnar retains the what was the point of him costing Seth the McIntyre match? The only reason for McIntyre to go over is to position him as #1 contender after Rollins wins the title. If anything I think Drew might win MITB and cash in on Rollins. I am beyond sick of Lesnar/Reigns. They cannot seriously go back to it.

I guess if you want to put logic in that decision, it was to make McIntyre look stronger so Roman looks even more impressive when he beats him.

I've been banking a lot on Seth winning, especially with Ciampa out. Ugh, y'all have me anxious now.

Please. No more Shield feuds. I’m cool with them doing their own thing and teaming up every now and then. But I’m sick of these breakup stories.
It’s been done, you can’t do it again now.
Roman feuding with Seth again doesn’t interest me whatsoever. I want Rollins on Smackdown for some fresh matchups. Hopefully that will open the door for a heel Roman on Raw; away from Seth.

It can make a guy, if used properly, so why give it to someone who's already one of your top stars? Not that I doubt the WWE will give it to Reigns. But it could do the world of good for Finn Balor or Andrade. Ziggler got a concussion almost as soon as he won the title, and his prior feud with Cena did almost nothing for him. It wasn't until Punk's second win that they actually capitalized on it. RVD had a meaningless feud with Shelton for the IC title before cashing in and then he smoked himself in the foot 4 weeks later. A harsh reality is that it is very rare that MITB benefits a wrestler. It helped Edge along with being paired with Lita. It helped Punk the 2nd time after he cashed in on Jeff and turned heel. It helped Bryan and set him on the path that would lead to Team Hell No and the Yes Movement. It helped Rollins by getting him more heat. It borderline helped Ambrose. After that, Swagger had an awful reign, Kane was in the middle of a hideous feud with Taker, Miz was relegated to feuding with Lawler and was made into an afterthought for his lone Mania main event. Del Rio helped screw up the red hot Punk angle and got fed right to Cena. Guys like Cena and Orton didn't need it. Sheamus won it just because WWE wanted to swerve fans. Sandow and Corbin failed miserably. Braun's win was marginalized. Reigns might as well win it. It will make for some nice symmetry that all 3 members of The Shield won MITB. Samoa Joe maybe is the only other guy that I can see getting a real reaction from the crowd should he win it and I think he could do something good with it. Also, just because Reigns wins it, that doesn't necessarily mean he and Rollins have to feud about it. Could easily do a face vs face feud. But the idea that MITB is to be used to help elevate those mid card guys is a notion that has only rarely been fully realized.

Nope. I think it’s going to be Shinsuke winning and going for Lesnar.

To make Drew look like a bigger threat to Reigns because that's being positioned as a more important match than Rollins / Lesnar is.

I still say Brock beats Seth, continues beating the piss out of him after the match. Roman makes the save. Impromptu match, Roman walks out with the belt.
It's 25 years since Bret/Yoko/Hogan and it's sort of a play on Seth cashing in at 31 too.

Lesnar beats Rollins @ WrestleMania Shinsuke gets moved to Raw in the Shake-up Shinsuke wins MITB Shinsuke hunts down Lesnar in the only way Shinsuke can and cashes in @ Summerslam Fingers and toes crossed mind you.

EWWWW!! Shane is Scrappy Doo at this point. He even "punches" like him and seems to go over everyone that he's faced. He's just a slightly-more "successful" Greg Gagne.
