Nothing about his in ring career changes (much) but backstage does he ever rise above agent level? NXT probably gets cancelled after a few seasons of its 'game show' incarnation and FCW is still the training area. Maybe he goes to TNA around the mid 2000s for the high pay, easy schedule and to hang out with Nash, once the money runs out he comes home for a HoF induction and a goodbye match at mania (probably against HBK).

When did they actually start dating and when did they get married? They kept their relationship somewhat secret but the generally accepted start of their relationship was the summer of 2000, and they married in October 2003.

He would've had less title reigns and the Reign of Terror probably would've never happened. That said, the dude would still be one of the major players in the company. It's not like he was some nobody that got propelled into main event status after he started dating Stephanie McMahon. His feuds with the Rock elevated both of them and while he never achieved the megastardom of The Rock or Austin, he was the next guy on the totem pole in the Attitude Era. Right there with Foley. I'm guessing he still develops a close friendship with Ric Flair and Evolution probably still becomes a thing.

I do wonder what it would mean for HHH's match quality. While I would never say he was an outright bad worker, he definitely had his low points and some weren't all up to injuries and wear & tear. If you have HHH in a position where he knows his top spot isn't as promised as it had been, I wonder if he would not have had a more memorable mid and late 2000's to his career where a lot of his contemporaries really shook up their game to stay relevant and put on some of their best work (Taker and HBK and Angle, to a much lesser extent Kane and Big Show).
