If they never got into a relationship & especially never married, how much different do you think Monday Night Raw would have been in the early-mid 2000s compared to what we were given?

It's a hard one to answer, because they already put the title on him once before the angle and his real life relationship with Steph even started, so He was going to get a big push no matter what.

I think Triple H still would have been a fairly major figure, as he was always a yes man for Vince, and apparently loyal and dependable. But he wouldn't be the dominant, umpteen time world champion that he is. He'd have been what he was best at - the guy who puts the big stars over.

He'd still have been successful but probably with half the accolades.

I think you can look towards the other Kliq members, specifically Shawn, and the likes of Kane & Big Show and come to your own conclusions to how HHH's career would've gone.
He wouldn't have become the be all, end all he was for so long. The company would've put all of its eggs in the Brock Lesnar, and later the John Cena, basket rather than splitting things between HHH and him. As a result, I think Orton and Batista's careers would've taken a very different path too though both likely would've ended up somewhere resembling where they did due to management being high on both of them along with Cena coming out of their OVW days.
I also think the downturn of his career would've happened sooner than it did, with him being forced to become more of a special attraction and part timer earlierer.
A lot of the "Lost Generation" of the 2000's would've gotten more legitimately goes at being main event players to try to fill the void the lack of the omni-HHH presents in the card, so some may have ended up better off than they are now though I think some of them would've still sunk.

When did they actually start dating and when did they get married?

He still would have been a major figure in the company as many have said. He would have stuck around when many others left and his creative mind would have been valuable to the company.
Biggest change would have been during the reign of terror. When ratings went free falling he would have had to answer for it. Not saying it was all his fault but he largely went blameless as far as the company was concerned where others would have been pushed aside as not a draw.

I think he would be a 7 or 8 time world champion. While not as powerful as he is today, he would still be a powerful backstage figure. I imagine he'd be like a Fit Finlay or Pat Patterson.

Triple H would be treated better than Big Show and Kane but less than Taker and Michaels. He'd have a major backstage role still but that's where he'd be.
He'd be Edge with a backstage role without those titles.

He was a Main Event player before they even started dates so he was at less 3 time champion by that time and was the top heel in all of wrestling in 00, nobody was touching him that year as the heel. The big change would been from his return in 02 going forward. He wasn't going to be as dominate on Raw and his job maybe in question because until he got to HBK at Summerslam, he matches wasn't living up. Then he had a bunch of injuries that effected him through out 03 and at times got out of shape. He likely wouldn't been champion. Honestly HBK may held the title longer because of those reasons and later Booker. HHH would been at less depushed until he got back healthy and prove to stay healthy.

He still would have probably done well, he was in good with Vince and supposedly was the one who actually suggested the screwjob, though it was a technique that'd been done before, anyway, and plenty of veterans backstage warned Bret it was inevitable. I just think all of them thought it'd be a quick count on a rollup, no one considered the inaudible give up.
Given Rock would have still gone Hollywood, Austin would have still retired in a few years, Foley sooner, and Undertaker was still going to be in and out of active competition, Triple H would have still been heavily relied on. It might have been a few fewer world titles or something, but anyone who thinks he'd have been a non-factor is on some industrial-strength denial.

To mix Reality and Kayfabe,Triple H always knews how to "Play The Game",from Michaels to the Kliq to in the end the McMahons.
I'm sure he would be able to talk himself up and gain favors with the right people.

NXT, as we know it, would not exist.
It would likely still be more like FCW was. And no where near as popular.

I'm currently watching early 2001 Raw and Smackdown.
Not much would have changed. He was the hardest working guy on the show. His level of talent and work ethic got him there. He had a crazy fire underneath him during that time. His feud with Austin coming into No Way Out is amazing.
