Watching this now. Had no idea footage of the Mass Transit incident existed. They had fan footage. They just made damn sure to bury it. It's always been out there and was a big thing on the tape trader circuit before that imploded. There's usually at least 3-4 copies of it on Youtube at any given time until they get copyright claimed.

Conrad Thompson said that the Brawl for All episode contains "The meltdown of all meltdowns." Judging by JR going into overdrive in the Benoit one in regards to the timeline of the WWE knowing that particular situation, I'm wondering if it'll be him, set off by the notion that it was designed to get "his boy" in the main event.

Brawl For All as an episode concept is just a waste. Yes and no. It's not like anyone died, but you take a bunch of lower card workers and force them into Toughman Competitions, in a locker room that cannibalizes itself, where they deliberately brought in a ringer, and punished the actual winner... you kind of have to explore that. It's a cool down episode. So far we've gotten Benoit, and New Jack, with Herb Abrams, Dino Bravo, and Owen Hart on the horizon. Smart to give a cool down episode that doesn't involve murder, accidental death, or assault with a deadly weapon.

That, and it pads things out; you topload this series with all the big stuff right up front, no one's going to care about Season Four.

To me it would fit better for a show called "The Stupid Side Of The Ring"

I wonder if Bret or Austin will be interviewed for the Owen episode. Yeah, they are on Vince's good side, but it's not like they're employees or yes men, they've criticized the company in recent years as well.

Bret did the one for Montreal so he would most likely do this Steve can do what he wants so he could probably do it as well. If Rock wasn't so busy i'm sure he would be on it

Bret has a much higher chance of doing it. It's not necessarily like Austin walks on eggshells with WWE, but he still probably cares at least marginally more about irritating them, whereas Bret gives zero f***s about it.
I just wonder if Bret would be involved if Martha would rather it just be her. I am not honestly sure if they're still on the outs.

Well it is interesting on the Broken Skull session two weeks ago, Bret said that Owen deserves to be remembered and in the HOF which goes against what Martha wants

New Jack is the ultimate worker. Wouldn't let his guard down at all for this show.
The producers said they did Brawl for All in part because they wanted to balance out the season with something that didn't involve so much human tragedy, thinking this would be more of a lighter mood.

I was just becoming a teen in 1998 so of course everything WWF related was something I was interested in but it was the Brawl For All that I really kept an eye on. It's crazy to think it all came about because of Bradshaw's big mouth and Vince Russo wanting to show him up. Almost all the guys were low on the card at the time but a few might have had better careers if not for this event, specifically Dr. Death, Savio Vega and Bart Gunn. I think Savio would wind up being a long term employee of WWF if not for the injury. I can see him eventually becoming a trainer and considering how good a guy he is, one of the more respected trainers. Bart Gunn is another guy who would probably have a contract for a long time considering he was already around 5 years. It's a shame he went all the way to win only to be knocked out by Butterbean and so quickly. I'm a huge Jim Ross fan but it's a shame if he couldn't have just accepted on that Raw day Bart was the best man between he and Dr. Death.

Yeah, Jarrett's in the Hall, but I don't think he'd pass up on the chance to talk about Owen. Mark Henry probably won't be in it.

Surprised at how much WWE owned footage can be seen on these.
Is the New Jack ep going up on Vice's YT page? Is it there already?
