I'm listening to the show now. Dave just talked about putting the big stars on Smackdown. I guess that would mean Roman. Because the only other real big star they have is Brock and he's never there anyway.

I humbly nominate the third hour of SmackDown to be a Talking Smack-esque show with Renee, Pat McAfee and Skip Bayless. Dear God NO!

Every news story about WWE lately makes me less and less interested in the future of their product, if there is one...

Instead of using more of their roster, WWE will fill this third hour by creating a Gauntlet Match Championship, which will be defended weekly in a Gauntlet Match.

The question I have is who's asking for this WWE or Fox (Or both)? If I recall the WWE didn't want to make Raw 3 hours but USA demanded it. I am sure Fox will call the shots. You know for a guy who is meant to be such a powerful headstrong businessman, Vince is really a little bitch when it comes to the people who give him money

You know for a guy who is meant to be such a powerful headstrong businessman, Vince is really a little bitch when it comes to the people who give him money That's kind of how business works. If someone is giving your business a lot of money then they get to call the shots. If you try to be too assertive with them they might decide you're not worth spending all the money on your product and might dump you. Vince isn't about to screw up this deal by becoming a thorn in Fox's side.

They have enough talent to run a 3hr smackdown. Wrestling talent at least. Writing talent, not so much.

That's gonna make no sense for west coast viewers with satellite TV.

I humbly nominate the third hour of SmackDown to be a Talking Smack-esque show with Renee, Pat McAfee and Skip Bayless. If Skip Bayless is used in any fashion on WWE, I will puke and seriously consider giving up WWE. I know... I won't be missed, but i can't f'ing stand Skip Bayless.

The only appropriate response is a big "no" with so many "O"s that I run out of characters and have to start another post, comprised entirely of "O"s. This is an eyesore, so I hope my description of my reaction gets the point across just as well.

Three hours and people will still watch, complain, find a way to watch the third hour on FS1 and complain some more. I wouldn't be surprised to see that particular transition happen. WWE while losing ratings and buyrates overall is still swimming in money and could careless about the product.

On one hand 3 hours is a lot. On the other hand this might solve the issue Smackdown has where half their roster can't get on tv. Although, that might be tempered by them ending up on the third hour.
Also, 205 Live might have taken off if it existed outside the network which many audiences can't access.

I miss the days of one hour wrestling shows (yeah, I know NXT and ROH are 1 hour long). I mean, classic ECW was able to fit all their storylines in an hour time slot, and that was without squash matches.
