...the catch is they have to all be hit songs from 5+ years ago (or since it's next year's WrestleMania, it can be 4+ years ago) like this year's theme "Love Runs Out" by the band OneRepublic. And the song doesn't need to fit any theme pertaining to the event (though sure, it would be neat if the songs did) they just need to sound good in your open ears.
This one's a song I like, it even sounds like a sunny weather song, appropriate since it's in Tampa, Florida:
Also, if BeckyMania is still running wild next year, might as well license this song:

I'd go with "Rats" by Ghost. Partially because this is one of the only current bands that I know about. Also because it sounds pretty badass, and I could see them tying it in with an angle where the babyfaces are fighting against the "plague" of The Authority.
The song would really be fitting if they pushed Finn Balor or Aleister Black to the moon in the next year.

I think "You Should See me in a Crown" by Billie Ellish that they are using for NXT is great.
I had a thought before they should have like three artists who make themes for each match. Some could be original songs, others already released.
This year, I thought something like J Cole, Billie Ellish and SZA as artists.

If it were up to me, "Big Time" by Peter Gabriel would be the WrestleMania theme every year. WrestleMania 22's hype was greatly elevated by the song.

Alternate "The Man" option: The Man by The Killers.
I'm not sure if it was a hit but I can also picture a Wrestlemania match card rundown set to Get Out by CHVRCHES.

On one hand I approve, on the other hand I'm suing for gimmick infringement: When I'm in charge of WWE, every PPV is going to have Rats by Ghost as their theme song and nobody will ever get tired of it. I'll forgive the commentary for being wrong aobut this because it's an easy mistake but no the real theme song for this PPV, like the past four PPVs, is actually

They've used them for NXT and TLC last year, but put me down for The Struts and their hit, "One Night Only"

How about a little connection to KOTR 2002? The theme for that PPV was "Ride Of Your Life" by Neurotica, a band that was signed to Smackdown Records (yes, that was a thing at one point). The lead singer of Neurotica was Kelly Shaffer, who founded the band during the several years that his much better known and much more beloved band (especially by a musician by the nickname of Marilyn Manson) Atheist was broken up. Atheist stood out in Tampa during the late 80s/early 90s. See, while Tampa was a hotbed of the fledgling death metal scene, with bands such as Morbid Angel, Obituary, Death, and Cannibal Corpse, the focus was on viciousness and brutality, especially with Cannibal Corpse. Atheist, however, went in a much more technical/progressive direction, with Unquestionable Presence being a landmark album in the tech/prog death subgenre as Death also ventured into that field, as did Cynic, which added jazz fusion to their prog death sound.
….Or, because there's a better chance that WWE can have a WM that is unanimously enjoyed than there is of them ever using a death metal song for any of their events, how about something from the John Bush era of Anthrax?
