Finished this several days ago but was waiting to post it here until I could share it on Reddit (since for some reason the Pokemon one doesn't allow fanart to be submitted on weekends). Pretty much just started at doing Bulbasaur to kill time and it gradually turned into doing the entire original 151. Note that I didn't actually use each Pokemon's own Red & Blue palette - like Bellsprout for instance was originally green - but I did exclusively use palettes from Red & Blue. Just thought this turned out pretty fun and been wanting to show it off. Really made me appreciate just how much the artistry of the sprites improved over the years.

Sounds like a lot of work,but they definitely ar elooking good. Some people wont even remember or know how atrocious Gen 1 sprites are.

It's weird, because there are quite a few that look way better in Red & Green than they do in Blue (granted there are also a lot of horrific Red & Green ones - looking at you, deformed fetus Mew).
