"It was a conversation that I had to have with Vince. It was something where he had his reasons for why he wanted to get rid of it at the time. That was fine and dandy, but I was having trouble getting a finisher that I was happy with and he was happy with. The Pedigree worked for a little bit, and the Ripcord Knee worked OK. But at the end of the day, the Stomp was what I was synonymous with, it's what I won the title with, it was part of who I was. When it came down to it, I just went and asked him a few years later. I said, 'Hey look, I want to do this. Give me reasons not to and I will tell you why you're wrong and hopefully, we can meet in the middle.' He was on my side, I caught him on a good day. Luckily it's back and hopefully, it's not going anywhere." "Obviously branding it is part of the deal, right? You don't want to have any negative connotations– it has nothing to do with what people think it does. You want to remove any connotations so you don't give anybody any reason to say, 'Well, but.' It was easy enough to just call it 'The Stomp,' just like The Spear or The Stunner, whatever. It works just fine and no one seems to care." www.thewrap.com/seth-rollins-brock-lesnar-wwe-wrestlemania-35-curb-stomp-the-shield/

Now, now, Seth, tell the truth. You did a terrible Pedigree and the knee sucked.
Although that spear counter Pedigree was pretty sick. Stupid it wasn't the actual finish of the match though.

I didn't hate his Pedigree, but Seth with the Curb Stomp as his finisher just feels right. The Ripcord Knee always looked too awkward to me. I still think his Frog Splash should be his secondary finisher.

And really didn’t make sense for Rollins, the only reason Omega added the arm twist was a f*** you to Okada

I wonder if he’ll ever bust out the Phoenix Splash again? Or did that disappear when his knee exploded?
I’ve hated every finisher for him besides The Stomp. As he said, it’s his move. Nothing else came close for me, and it nearly ruined him in my eyes. The finisher can be such a huge part of a character.

I think he should use an Overdrive as his finish.

The last time he busted out one was against Hunter at 33, I'm fully expecting him to do it at Mania since he was practicing his more flippy stuff at Black and Brave a few weeks ago.

I just like how all these stories keep coming out (like the sasha one for the women's tag titles) where everyone keeps mentioning "I caught vince on a good day I guess"

Seth pushed for the curb stomp as well as cashing in at mania among other things. Let’s hope he gets in Vince’s ear about going over Brock. Hell I would accept Rollins pulling an 90s HBK if it means he doesn’t job to Brock and let him hound the title

Or if he could safely do it from a Muay Thai Plum and really make it look like he was hammering the knee home would also be cool.
