This seems to boil down to " the team isn't beating other teams" . Which is a whole different thing to a scripted sport. But who put the money and picked the players? Khan. I hope he does better in the fake sports world than he does in real competition.

Search Tony Khan on twitter, they hate him. Yeah but we're talking soccer fans here, Twitter hate is like a kiss on the cheek from them. Now if they set half the city on fire because they hate him, THEN they actually hate him.

Now if they set half the city on fire because they hate him, THEN they actually hate him. The Khan family are probably despised in two separate sports. Other than Fulham, Jacksonville has been a perpetual joke with very few bright spots. The Khans deserve a remix of All I Do is lose.

I think Khan's involvement with AEW depends on how hands on he wants to be. If he's just the money and only cares about making bank and lets Cody and co. handle the actual operation of AEW, they should be fine. If he wants to be hands on, that makes things a bit more problematic.

I have always been sketchy about The Khans apparently his father while a great business mind is a rather shitty human being and after seeing Tony argueing with fans over twitter and how he runs this team and the state of the jaguars.
Dood seems the type that if he cannot throw money around as a solution to problems he lashes out at any an all criticizims and seeing as he already argues with people over twitter this seems like an inevitable escalating problem AEW could have.

They got relegated 6 years ago as well. In Khan’s first season as owner I believe.
I like Fulham, nice small club with a stadium by the Thames, but this season they have been horrible. Can’t defend to save their lives. Premier League too big of a step up for them this season.

Your point is totally valid for soccer in general, but in the case of Fulham there are growing protests and pressure groups actually pushing for the Khans to leave. There's something brewing there a bit deeper than usual fan unrest.

Can’t defend to save their lives. Premier League too big of a step up for them this season. I said before the season started they were in deep trouble. They let most of last season's squad go and didn't replace them until almost the same week the season started, and most of the players brought in smacked of panic buys.

I don't see how it matters that much I've said it before AEW will be like pocket change compared to a high level British football team. A few of there players probably earn more money then the whole AEW roster combined

A few of there players probably earn more money then the whole AEW roster combined In terms of money, nah it won't matter. But in terms of actually succeeding, there's a pattern of throwing money around without a real plan leading to chaos. We've been down this road with WCW and TNA before, we know how it ends. Then if it's not succeeding, he might just pull the plug because he gets bored and we're back to square one.

Yeah that's true, but I don't see what big expensive names there even are on the indie scene that will make that much of a financial impact to the khan family, the most expensive guy I can think of is ryback and so far they havnt really signed many big names, so looks like they are being sensible.
