AJ and orton have just been killing it with this fued and I’ll go so far as to say this is AJ’s best fued since entering the roster as a face (might even beat the Cena fued) and honestly I don’t think Orton has had a better fued either? The burns they had against eachother felt brutal (the orton getting suspended and AJ replacing Cena as corporate bitch). KO walking away also made it feel special. I’m stoked for this match and I would be open to them continuing the fued or having another big match in the future

I'll repeat what I said in my SDL review:
"...in a road to WM filled with overbooked convoluted feuds, this one proves that less is indeed more."
Orton's motivations fit the character he's been portraying since turning, and AJ is the perfect knight in shining armor to defend against him.
I'd argue this is the best booked feud from start to finish going into WM.

In a scenario where this feud has been one fans have been calling on for about 2 years, it is somewhat lost in the shuffle thanks to a few feuds other feuds but both dudes are bringing it Neither is known for their mic work but can get it done when motivated and it just feels like they are going about this themselves. I kind of hope this opened the show and hopefully it doesn't get buried in the slog of the show because this is two legends at their finest while not even doing the most
In regards to their best feuds, I still think AJ best feud is Cena while you can say Orton is Christian, Mick Foley, or Taker

This would be an absolutely killer opener, so I'm definitely onboard with that.

This would be an absolutely killer opener, so I'm definitely onboard with that. AJ showed what he can do with Shane 2 years ago, let him and Orton open up the show and put on a 15 min banger
Hell, I wouldn't be against DB vs Kofi opening the show to show the fans you mean business from jump but people will feel like the title is "watered down" if that is the case

I loved it when Kevin Owens just noped the hell outta there before AJ and Orton came to blows.

I love AJ and his year-long title reign, but up until this program started, the dude was spinning his wheels. This has been a nice reminder that face AJ Styles can still be good, and that while Orton is getting long in the tooth, he's still a good heel character when he has something meaningful to do.

AJ and Orton wrestled in the main event of the house show I went to Monday night and it was quite good. Really enjoyed the way they played the RKO/Phenomenal Forearm exchange too. I won’t get into it in case they’re planning on using it for the Mania match, but it was super smart and layered.
I’m expecting something awesome from them on Sunday.

The build to this match has genuinely got it over with me. I like the promos, I like the angle. This was a good segment too, I love that KO got a pop for leaving because he was like 'yeah this is going to break down' and just made the wise choice.
