Man, that seemed like a huge missed opportunity. That could have been a featured match. Instead, they go with a match that is bound for the pre show and makes the Usos seem less important. And The Hardy’s arent even on the card. Why?

The Hardy's are in the battle royal aren't they? Maybe, but the Usos/Hardy’s Match is still a way better slot, no?

It sucks, but I could see them facing the Hardy’s after Mania and then losing the titles to the Hardy’s before going to Raw.

For a minute, especially after the Uso’s cut one of those backstage, no one is closer than us because we’re brothers promos that the Uso’s vs. the Hardy’s at Wrestlemania was the direction they were going.
If they would have went that direction and perhaps had a Ladder Match, it could have potentially become a nice passing the torch type Wrestlemania moment, but instead we’re getting the Hardy’s in the “Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal” and the Uso’s defending Smackdown Tag Team Championships in a four-way that would feel more at home on a third tier PPV like Fastlane.
A lot of how this card has stacked up reminds me of “Wrestlemania 2000” where there’s simply too many multi-wrestler or teams match, and it’s sacrificed compelling stories that could have been told between two-on-two or one-on-one matchups.

I'm assuming they wanted to give them the proper time to build a feud and not be lost in the shuffle but yeah that match needed to happen
WWE forgets shit though so we most likely won't get that match and I assume Nak/Rusev will get the titles for a bit to give them to Darknesses (Ricochet/Black)

Wrestlemania 2000 had zero one-on-one matches, right? Here, there’s at least still Brock-Rollins, Bryan-Kofi, HHH-Batista, AJ-Orton, Shane-Miz, Joe-Rey, Lashley-Balor, Angle-Corbin, Reigns-McIntyre, Murphy-Nese.

Yeah, I've got no idea how they missed the boat on this. They brought back the Hardyz, with Matt in great shape wearing the old school Hardyz gear...to have them in some lame ass battle royal that never means anything.
My only hope is that they spend the next few months feuding. Maybe Usos walk away retaining the titles, which begins a program with the Hardyz, and it eventually integrates New Day and we can get a TLC match triple threat. I feel like New Day/Usos/Hardyz is very close to the kind of star power Dudleyz/E&C/Hardyz had. Those are legitimately 3 really talented, really over teams that defined an era of tag team wrestling.

I guess you're right, there were absolutely no one-on-one or two-on-two matches on "WrestleMania 2000" card while three-fourth's of this year's lineup consists of non multi-individual matches, but maybe it's because there's so much top talent being thrown into the "Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal" and the three other multi-talent matches, it just feels like a hodge-podge of booking to get everyone on the show much like "WrestleMania 2000"

And The Hardy’s arent even on the card. Why? Because Vince does not care about tag team wrestling. And putting the Uso's on the WM pre show is a WM tradition at this point.

This is the stupidest damn thing ever and same goes for the four-way women's tag titles match. Why couldn't they have Phoenix and Natalya against the Samoan slaughterhouse and Sasha/Baily vs the Iconics? that could have put over Phoenix and let her shine, instead she is just lost in the mix and same goes for the Iconics.

Going this 4-way route gets more guys on the main show? (if that even means anything anymore?)
Subsequently, you've got the 2 Hardys in the battle royal giving it more beyond-midcard starpower? (battle royal's at 30, not all of those other 6 guys might be put in?)

Because that's two matches instead of one and this Mania already has 76 matches slated.
