They signed Allie, and wouldnt be surprised if she tries to convince Cody and co about doing their version of the Undead Realm.

Just....be wrestling. It's so f***ing simple. Wrestling fans want to watch wrestling. Be that! Why is that so f***ing hard for people in the business to grasp?

How in the world does one property become “universally entertaining for everyone”? That doesn’t even make sense.

Impact had the Broken Hardys stuff mixed with "this is real wrestling" (see Lashley/Eddie still fighting all night @ the Hardy Compound) which they were treated like 2 different universes that messed up the show at points
LU has their own thing with a TV product as well
AEW probably wants to integrate more of the BTE stuff into the show which is fine but most importantly you want to have everyone on the same page because people are going to want to be creative but it may not fit into what they want

So, GLOW? It'll be GLOW. I'm into it. If it’s like the GLOW episode where it’s an episode of the show, I’m all the way goddamn in. No, I mean real GLOW. If no one raps before their matches, I'm throwing a fit.

I’m guessing that he means it will be like BTE but with wrestling. Will be interesting to see if they can pull it off. Could be a good idea, could be the worst idea. Yeah, I don't get why people are scratching their heads about this. BTE and their entertainment factor is a strong build-in with AEW, they're inextractibly there's no reason why he shouldn't feel like this.

I've been jokingly sarcastic about AEW for a while but I thought if there was one thing I could bank on a mega indie promotion doing it was focusing their wrestling show on the f***ing wrestling.

If whatever potential AEW show they have planned, becomes an extended version of BTE, you can count me in as a big HELL no to that. A wrestling show full of insider terms and jokes.. nah dude. Not for me. However, with everyone (except for Kenny, apparently) harping on all these statistics, that wins and losses matter, and the most recent, Jim Ross desiring to call a sports-oriented product, I dont think we have anything to fear.
Just present it as wrestling matches. Makes wins matter, and put it on TV. That's all you need to do.

Yeah I am really hoping the wink wink nudge nudge stuff isn't that prevalent when it comes to their TV stuff. Based on All In, I am thinking that Cody's my guy in terms of who among the Elite I'd want booking stuff. I like BTE but as a full time wrestling show I need it to be mostly serious business.

I was expecting AEW to be more serious than WWE.
I never really understand Kenny Omega’s vision for wrestling. The way he talks about it, I don’t understand what he thinks wrestling should be like.

I see his vision of being somewhat like All In, just kind of a bit of everything on the card. Comedy, hard hitting, brawling, hardcore, high flying. Although from this one I get a vibe similar to the BoJack Horseman episode where they're making a movie, and it turns from the story of stealing the "D" from the Hollywood sign, to a bizarre sci fi epic, to an app, to a healthy snack... I love Kenny Omega, I think he's got a good mind for this stuff, and he's an amazing talent, but sometimes I have no idea what he's talking about.

Seems pretty clear that it's going to be a thing that is universally entertaining and liked by all. So just imagine a thing that you like and that is Kenny's vision.

That sounds worryingly like something you'd read on a Kickstarter campaign like 6 years ago.

I love Kenny as a performer, but I really do think he's deep up his own ass with what an "influencer"(f***, I hate that term) he's supposedly become. There's no need to re-invent the wheel here, Omega.
