What are some matches wwe missed the boat on between superstars while they were on the same brand? For example, Eddie Guerrero and Undertaker were on the smackdown for 3 years yet they did not once have a one on one match, I’m sure it would of happened at some point but damn how dope would lieing, cheating, stealing Eddie vs the phenom have been?

In some cases, the timing just never worked out. You mention Eddie and Taker, who largely spent their overlapping years on Smackdown together as babyfaces. By the time Eddie turned heel in 2005, Taker was wrapped up in a feud with Orton, which didn't even end until after Eddie's passing. I do think had Eddie not passed, we would've gotten a one-on-one match, or even feud, eventually. But yeah, in a lot of cases, they were just cases of poor timing and not so much incompetence on WWE's part.

Kofi Kingston vs John Cena.
They’ve been on the same roster for 11 years and they never once had a match together. Incredible.
Also Jeff Hardy and Rey Mysterio.

That’s def news to me. Cena vs Kingston should of happened during Cena’s US open challenge phase atleast. I remember new day challenging him but it was Xavier that got the shot. Has Cena faced Big E? Speaking of Jeff Hardy, how about him vs Batista? I know they were both on smackdown in 2009 |

I got to see Eddie go one on one with the Undertaker at a house show. Never knew they didn't do it on TV ever.
Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't remember CM Punk ever facing Seth Rollins or Dean Ambrose in a singles match.

I know they were both on smackdown in 2009 When I google that the closest Hardy and Batista had was a triple threat match with Burke on the 08 Raw Draft show which is amazing they never went one on one, even when Hardy was on Raw when Batista first got there. Yes Big E did get a US title match against Cena Oct 5th 2015 Raw. I don't seem to recall Jeff and Rey being on the same brand that much. It seems like they always flipped. Like Jeff goes to Smackdown, Rey moved to Raw and the other way around. Still shocked me the whole time they been in the same company, brand and non brand. That there is only one singles match between Taker and Jericho on Smackdown in the later years of the brand split even. You think they had at less one PPV match somewhere. |

In 2003 we had Goldberg and RVD on Raw together. That is a match I always wanted to see for whatever reason. It might be a train wreck, or it might rule.

I was so positive that HBK and Punk did have a 1v1 match on a Smackdown, around a January when Punk was in the middle of his SES days, but I can't find record of it. Punk and Miz faced each other a couple times on Raw. Oh no I meant HBK never had a match with the Miz DX had a small feud with Miz and Morrison that resulted in a tag match on Raw in late 08 i think. I think that's as close as you will find. |

My personal choices
HBK vs. Punk
HBK vs. Eddie
HBK vs. Rey. I now they had 2 t.v. matches. I wanted a PPV match with at least 20 minutes.
Most recently Angle vs. Bryan, but hey at least we get Angle vs. Corbin, right? Right? Anybody? Yeah that's what I thought. F*** WWE for this one.

They did at least get a crowd hot for seeing them throw down in the Rumble, but that tends to get overlooked for the crowd totally no-selling them doing the same thing with Orton. |

We did get Eddie and Taker together in that underrated 4 way match from Armageddon 2004. Best bit included a 5 minute Eddie/Taker 1 on 1 segment where they actually have Guerrero all but straight up have Taker beat, but JBL shenanigans happen.
A singles match would have rocked on the evidence...
