Sarah Logan got a chance to shine, the ending was genuinely surprising, they didn’t have one person eliminate 3/4 of the roster to no reaction and it was just more entertaining.
And did Andrade mean to eliminate himself like that?

Low bar to clear. I felt bad for Ember returning like that.

It was a bit over booked. I didn’t even know some of the women were in the match until it was time for them to get their shit in.

Would have been cooler if Logan won. But... I guess Carmella needs the run for some reason.
And poor Asuka. What the hell happened?

I'm not sure why the men's didn't use guys like Kevin Owens, Dean Ambrose, and others to beef it up some.

I guess by default of not being centered around Braun Strowman vs two people from Saturday Night Live. It still had the insanely overused "NOT REALLY ELIMINATED!" trope and was a weird mess of flow. The one from Evolution was considerably better.

Didn't like either but I liked the guys slightly better as them doing the exact same finish with the women's that they did last year and with A FACE AGAIN no less really annoyed. The whole hiding outside the ring but not officially eliminated thing is overdone and always pisses me off but it's even more irritating when faces do it. What good does it do to have a face be coward who barely puts in any work and get a cheap win like that? Also Sarah Logan being the last women eliminated was super random.

Nice to see Mutapha now reduced to being a body for strawman to throw he must hate himself for that injury that got kofimania started. And to have his name taken away so that he's just simply Ali which means he could never get any t-shirt cells because they could never make a t-shirt with his name now
Oh and jeff Hardy is now too a body for strawman to throw so much for any hope of ever getting world gold again.
As for the woman I really really feel sorry for Kairi and Asuka

I didn't see the women's battle royal, but the men's battle royal sucked. Basically just a way of getting Braun to squash some minor celebrities, by way of a bunch of guys potentially getting injured.

Both weren't great, but I liked the women's more mainly because it didn't sacrifice a bunch of talented guys for a couple of comedians. Plus Sarah Logan and Sonya Deville got some shine in it.

Overall yes, but I really disliked they booked it exactly the same as last years. Sarah Logan played the part of Bayley and Carmella played the part of Naomi. Come up with an original finish WWE.

I thought the men's was better but that both were pretty bad. No issue with either winner though.

And did Andrade mean to eliminate himself like that? It had to be. There's ZERO way he could've done that move the way he performed it and landed on the apron. He just had the wherewithal to sell it like he screwed up. My questionable elimination of the match was EC3, who looked like he slipped and fell instead of hanging on. Him sitting on the floor a moment later, as Shelton was (shockingly) casually tossed out next to him, looked like he was just embarrassed.

I quite liked it up until the end. It felt quite fresh with women that don’t usually get the spotlight getting the spotlight.
But I’m pretty sick of the “OH! This person didn’t get eliminated! They went under/through the ropes!” spot. It was literally the same ending to last years Battle Royal, and they did the same thing with the Men’s Battle Royal later on.
Also, Carmella was a shitty pick for a winner. She’s got a good thing going at the moment with R-Truth that keeps her out of the ring after last years flop of a title reign. If they were gonna do the same winning spot, they should have given it to Naomi for continuity, or else it really should have been Asuka. Her getting dispatched at the end by Sarah Logan was pretty depressing.

It was OK but could have been improved. By Asuka single-handedly eliminating every single other woman one-by-one.
Still, I suppose Asuka is above a battle royal win. She'll get her moment again.
