Bellsprout!  : Bellsprout. So what was up with the million rotating guest commentators for the show anyway? : Bellsprout. You had Paige who did nothing, JBL who did nothing, Michaels who did nothing, King who did nothing but provide hilarious accompanying music to Brock rubbing his balls, Booker T where I don't even remember what match he was actually on, and I feel like I'm forgetting someone. : Bellsprout. No clue what the point of any of that was. |

It was a cool idea in theory, that they completely wasted by having all of the guest commentators feel completely irrelevant.

I liked it. I thought it was something cool to make Mania stand out and I didn't think any of them were terrible or anything.

HBK, I think, gave evidence for being a potentially excellent commentator if he chose to do more of it. Everyone else added nothing, including Booker outside of his moment with Saxton. |

I've never understood the point of introducing contents to the live audience. They can't hear them anyway, so to they won't even notice they're there.

In all honesty, I think it was their attempt to try to lighten the load for the overworked regular commentary for the evening. Cole's voice was all but gone by hour 6, and even tonight on Raw he still sounds like he hasn't fully recovered.
It may not have been executed properly, but they need a better solution if they really want the banter continue for 1/3 of a full day.
