Just looking back at last night and how Batista and Angle both retired with losses got me wondering how many people retired after a victory. Has it happened a lot?
The only one I could think of off the top of my head was Edge but I'm not a wrestling historian so thought I'd throw it out to the fine men and women of the FAN Universe.

Trish Stratus did, too. Took the title with her as well.

RVD left the company in 2007 via an unexpected victory over Orton, supposedly done as a swerve to everyone expecting a Van Dam loss.

Look at your profile avatar Sorry I reminded you. Haha oh man. I think I literally blocked that whole debacle from my mind. HBK was retired by Taker AND WE SHALL NEVER SPEAK OF ANY OTHER INTERACTION THEY'VE HAD SINCE EVER AGAIN!

Generally only guys who retire or leave unexpectedly. As we know, the tradition in wrestling is that you lose on your way out.
Having said that, it looks very possible that whatever Cena's last match is/was, he won't have lost it.

AJ Lee retired at WrestleMania in a tag match with Paige that they won. Paige’s last match was a match on Raw against Sasha that she won. Although, like Edge, this is different because they had unexpected injuries that suddenly forced them into retirement. Trish Stratus did, too. Took the title with her as well. Also, Lita and Trish returned to do that tag a few months ago at Evolution, and then did that 10-woman tag the next night on Raw. They won both, so if they don’t end up returning, this would count as retiring with a win.

Trish is the only one that comes to mind.
And no, nostalgia or Saudi matches don't count.

I know this probably doesn’t count but I’m happy that Eddie won his last match, even if it was a dq
