I hope he's happy whatever he does. I don't expect him to sit at home long, because in that documentary on the Network last year, he said he's itching to wrestle, but on his terms. I would not be at all surprised to see someone announce real soon that they've signed Jon Moxley. That or he jumps someone at Double or Nothing. Will he be contractually allowed to do anything at Double or Nothing? Do they still have no compete clauses in their contracts? I *think* no compete only applies when you leave WWE before the term of your contract, either by choice or by future endeavors. If you finish your contract as Ambrose has, I think you're free right away.

I'm going to really miss Dean Ambrose. He was my favorite of the Shield members and I even bought a t-shirt of his when I went to Raw for my 30th birthday a few years ago. I love the camaraderie between him, Seth, and Roman and you can tell those three have a special bond.
Hoping all the best for his future endeavors, whatever they may be.

Could have sworn that at the end of that video Ambrose and Reigns mentioned something about Ambrose leaving. Ambrose either said "way to go man" or he "can't wait to go man" or just something. They laughed about it so who knows.

If there's one takeaway I have from these off-air promos, it's that WWE's wrestlers seem so much more comfortable and relaxed when the cameras aren't rolling live. All three of them seemed like real, actual human beings off the air, compared to the stiff, scripted wrestlers we see every Monday night.
I'm not saying they should be given total autonomy to say and do whatever they want, because that's how we end up with The Genesis of McGillicutty or Kalisto's Good Lucha Thing, but there has to be some balance to make them appear as relaxed as they were after Raw, but during Raw.

it so annoying when they all use the same vocabulary/sentences given by a control freak, it doesn't sound normal with all the heels saying things like "each and everyone of you"....most come off better when they can actually speak the way they are and not regurgitating words from a thesaurus

He accomplished quite a bit and was really over, and it's still like he didn't scratch the surface of what he could really do. Crazy. I'm also going to miss the awkwardness of Renee on commentary during his matches.

"Arn Anderson called us two indy schmucks and a football player" LMAO
I just love the mental image of Arn Anderson using Yiddish insults.
I love that during this WrestleMania weekend, we found out that both Ole & Arn called two of the greatest teams(Harlem Heat & The Shield) crap at first.

Ambrose when he comes back really needs to either team up with Wyatt or feud with him again because Wyatt's post really makes you look back at the Ambrose feud. Ambrose was his best opponent and even though Ambrose lost that feud, he didn't really lower himself or lose steam. That was a great set.

I've always felt Dean was underrated as hell as far as actual in ring work goes. Daniel Bryan is the best wrestler they have, bar none, and even he couldn't click with Miz the way Ambrose has always been able to. Dean's also responsible for a couple of Braun's best singles matches.

If you couldn't work with Ambrose, you'd be depushed and that's what happened to Strowman's first push. Actually, it reminds me a lot of another former star who doesn't get enough credit.

Bummer to see him go, I hope he finds some place that lets him be creative or just gets a break if he's burnt out. I loved the "you sit through all three hours of Raw!" line there.

I remember as Nash was writhing in pain on the ground, NWO HBK cut a promo and his words were "You can be with the best or be down like the rest" or something like that. All the other NWO members were standing. All the opponents (and NWO Nash) were on the mat lol.

Rollins really struggled to keep it together. So did I.
Best promo I have seen Dean cut. And the joke from Arn Anderson was gold.

It's weird saying this, but I completely agree with Kevin Nash. Waltmann was one of the most underrated wrestlers ever IMO. It's a shame he got the reputation of X-Factor and "X-Pac heat" because that was the one black mark of a remarkable, solid midcard career. And this was a time when saying someone had a "midcard career" wasn't an insult.

He'll be missed, one of the greats. And for sure hope he has a great run doing whatever he wants wherever he goes.
